From the 1992 Japan tour that Yngwie Malmsteen performed after the release of "FIRE & ICE", the performance at Nippon Budokan in Tokyo on March 14th will be released with a high-quality multi-camera pro shot! You can enjoy Yngwie's live performance at the height of his popularity at the time based on TV broadcast materials provided by a famous domestic taper! After a tour of the Soviet Union with Joe Lynn Turner, Yngwie took a break from his activities under the name "RISING FORCE" and made a fresh start under the solo name "YNGWIE MALMSTEEN". In 1990, he released "ECLIPSE", which featured mainly Swedish members such as Göran Edman on vocals and Mats Olausson on keyboards, and embarked on a new solo career. In 1992, he released "FIRE & ICE", which continued to feature Göran and Mats from the previous work. At that time, Yngwie was attracting a lot of attention in Japan, and the album even debuted at number one on the Japanese charts. With this momentum, Yngwie came to Japan in March 1992. Starting with the Urawa performance on March 4th, a total of nine performances were held over a period of about two weeks until the Miyagi performance on March 16th. This work digitizes the performance at Nippon Budokan in Tokyo on March 14th, which was the highlight of his visit to Japan, based on the professional shot master broadcast on television. Although the recording time is short at about 20 minutes, you can enjoy three new songs at that time (a total of seven takes, including interviews and footage) with excellent image and sound quality and stable shots. The video starts with the opening of the program, followed by Yngwie entering the Budokan. In addition to the relaxed members, you can enjoy the sound check and interview (the interview is subtitled in Japanese). Following the scene just before the live performance, the live finally begins. This video includes three songs with different personalities from the new work at that time: the classical "No Mercy", the bluesy "Dragonfly", and the catchy and pop-like "Teaser". You can enjoy each song with excellent clarity and the best soundboard sound source. Yngwie plays a series of hard guitar sounds while deciding flashy actions. However, in the solo, he plays a flowing and classical melody, overwhelming the fans with his unique presence. Of course, the performances of Yoran and Mats are also captured exactly. Yoran's delicate vocals (for better or worse), which tend to be hidden by Yngwie's playing in the audience recording, can be enjoyed up to the fine nuances in this soundboard sound source. At the end, Yngwie's comments (also with Japanese subtitles) close the recording. Even with a short recording time, this is a piece that will give you a high level of satisfaction and a full grasp of Yngwie in 1992. Of course, it comes with an original menu only for this work. If you are a fan, please enjoy this precious and excellent pro shot that you cannot miss!
