From the 1995 Japan tour accompanying "MAGNUM OPUS", the first day, September 8th, the performance at Kagoshima City Cultural Hall was recorded with the highest level of stereo soundboard recording. Originally released in 2006 as a two-disc set titled "MAGNUM POWER", it was remastered from the master tape and re-released as a set with the audience recording of the Fukuoka performance the next day as "DOUBLE MAGNUM" released by the Shades label, and this work is still considered to be the definitive version of the original sound source. Soundboard of the 1995 Kagoshima performance. You can enjoy Yngwie's regional stage of the 1995 tour full of momentum with the best sound quality (after the end of Never Die, Yngwie greets in Japanese, "Konbanwa, Kagoshima, how are you?"). This stereo line recording is the first appearance. The master uses the remastered version that can be heard on "DOUBLE MAGNUM". In terms of sound, the sound board is covered with the sound of an ambient microphone to reduce the hardness peculiar to line recording, and the sound is spread out. At first listen, it sounds like an ultra-high quality audience recording, but it is definitely a line recording. The hiss noise that was noticeable in the already released "MAGNUM POWER" has been reduced to a level that does not affect the original sound, and the overall sound image has been adjusted to the best condition. The Seventh Sign, which had two cuts, is also connected, and it is a high-quality piece that can be officially released. All musical sounds are recorded in ultra-clear, but Yngwie's guitar solo in particular is recorded with outstanding sound, and fans will be very satisfied with the succession of breathtaking super-fast playing. As with the already released, Black Star and the last number I'll See The Light, Tonight have not been received, but fans will definitely need to listen to it as an upgraded version of the definitive title that captured the first day of the tour with a perfect level of line recording. The live show started with Vengeance and No Love Lost, just like the new album "MAGNUM OPUS" at that time, and included nine songs selected from the new album. The members at this time were Mike Vesela (vo), Mats Olausson (key), Barry Sparks (b), and Shane Garas (ds), in addition to Yngwie. Mike's vocals were stable and powerful, and they matched well with Yngwie, who is still playing carefully. The set, which features Mike's "Seventh Sign" and "Magnum Opus" songs, is wonderful and worth listening to, which is unique to this period. Barry Sparks' technical bass solo and Shane Garas' powerful drumming are also great. Too Young To Die, Too Drunk To Live by Alcatrazzo are also played on this tour. This is a highly recommended two-disc set that allows you to enjoy Yngwie's best playing at the peak of his career 20 years ago with the best sound.
