The long-awaited release of the definitive item following "GUITAR GODS IN PENNSYLVANIA", which was very popular among all those who admire Yngwie Malmsteen! This time, the final stage of the ``GUITAR GODS 2014'' tour, the July 3rd performance in Beverly Hills, California, is completely recorded with ultra-high quality audience footage of professional shots. This is a must-see for enthusiasts who can enjoy the charm of the current Yngwie to the fullest! This year's "GUITAR GODS 2014" tour features a great lineup, including Yngwie, Uli Jon Roth, Gary Hoey, and Bumblefoot. From the latest live performance, “GUITAR GODS IN PENNSYLVANIA” was recently released as a 2-disc press CD, much to the delight of fans. The realistic sound that captures Yngwie's guitar as if it were a line sound source was the perfect content to learn about Yngwie's live shows, which are now all about the guitar. If you close your eyes and listen, the sound image is as if Yngwie was playing up close, and the sound is so persuasive and has such a sense of realism that in a sense, you don't even need the visuals. The individuality of the sound was outstanding. However, aren't all the passionate fans thinking this after listening to the sound source? ``I really want to enjoy seeing Yngwie in film.'' This work responds to the luxurious requests of such enthusiasts! In this work, the live performance at the "Saban Theater" in Beverly Hills, California on July 3, when the tour was in the latter half, is completely recorded with super quality audience shots (which even professional shots will escape!) I am doing it! Some footage is already known from the “GUITAR GODS 2014” tour. Among them, "GUITAR GODS TOUR 2014", which was included as a bonus title of the aforementioned "GUITAR GODS IN PENNSYLVANIA", will have three performances: Wilkes-Barre on June 12th, Inglewood on the 17th, and Saint Charles on the 20th. (Although it was not a complete recording) I enjoyed the high quality. Among all these video materials, why did this work win the press DVD position? The quality of the video is simply amazing! Because it is the latest digital photography, it goes without saying that the clarity and sharpness of the images are high. Furthermore, the audio is as good as “GUITAR GODS IN PENNSYLVANIA”, and the play of Yngwie and the band is beautifully contained. If you are a fan, if you look at this video, you can easily imagine that the photographer has a proper understanding of Yngwie's live performance. The photographer, who held his equipment near the sleeve on the left hand side facing the stage, captured Yngwie's movements, sometimes violently, and other times, creating an emotionally delicate tone, clearly in the viewfinder without a trace leaking out. . Furthermore, the members who support Yngwie do not miss the important points that ``I want to see here'' and show them with shots that hit the key points (at a recent Yngwie live, members other than the ``main characters'' were on the left side of the stage). The fact that he plays a supporting role actually works as a plus in this video.) When you play the disc, the video starts from the "Rising Force" intro. Illuminated by the red lighting, Yngwie literally "reigns" in the center of the stage, moving freely in the space with no one to block him, and dynamically letting his phrases soar into the space! Speaking of how dynamic that guitar sound is! The sound of none other than him roars out at such a loud volume that even the drums and keyboards are pushed away! However, drummer Patrick Johansson unleashes a powerful attack, and keyboardist Nick Marino, who also serves as vocalist, sings with great effort (he bears a surprising resemblance to Joe Lynn Turner), and is able to catch Yngwie's onrushing efforts. Yngwie's spectacular live performance, which cannot be seen by any other musician or band, will overwhelm all viewers and keep them glued to the screen! From the speedy and energetic instrumental "Spellbound", the heavy "Razor Eater" continues. Up to this point, Yngwie has taken control of the venue with a single "push" move! However, the following songs ``Evil Eye'' and ``Overture/From A Thousand Cuts/Arpeggios from Hell'' give us a taste of Yngwie's emotional side. The melodies produced by his guitar have a ``dignity'' and ``dignity'' that only the ``real thing'' can have. Some people (even now) criticize this kind of so-called "neo-classical" music, saying it "looks like a scale exercise and has no emotion," but if you watch this video and hear the musical sounds, you will at least be able to relate to Yngwie. Then you'll realize that such statements don't apply! The highlight in the middle of the live is the famous song “Seventh Sign”! Once again, Nick Marino gives us a voice that reminds us of Joe Lynn Turner, giving us a simulated experience of ``What if Joe had sung this song...?'' Of course, Yngwie's guitar is in great condition from beginning to end, and his crisp playing and flowing phrasing seem to captivate the listener's ears. Furthermore, when "Far Beyond The Sun" was introduced with "Badinerie" and "Adagio" as a prelude, the excitement in the venue reached its first peak! This year marks 30 years since this song was performed live. However, Yngwie's guitar has gotten sharper and more awesome over the years (far from declining!). Furthermore, the well-opened sound space creates a sense of depth in the performance, and this mellowness also gives the songs a sense of surprise and newness. After captivating the audience with "The Star-Spangled Banner," they listen carefully to the deep acoustic play of "Acoustic Paraphrase," before drifting into the famous song "Dreaming (Tell Me)." The cleverness of this scene's composition and skillful development are as expected. The majestic "Into Valhalla", the speedy "Baroque & Roll", and the promised "Trilogy Suite Op: 5" also feature Yngwie's fierce play. It can even be said that there is meaning in watching these things on video. After closing the main set with "Magic City", which has Yngwie's bluesy emotion, and the catchy "Heaven Tonight", the famous song "Black Star", which also celebrated 30 years since its release on the album, was performed. Appears in the first shot of the encore. When faced with that guitar tone, even the lively Beverly Hills audience seems to straighten their necks and listen intently. And at the end, the guitar crash from “I’ll See The Light Tonight” explodes! This video captures this scene with a sense of stability and closeness, as if it were filmed by the people involved, and ends the approximately 95-minute live performance with the audience overwhelmed! Yngwie has recently clearly determined that his activities are centered around himself and his guitar playing. There is no so-called ``band-like'' feel to it, and it is true that tastes are divided on that point. However, as you can see if you watch this work, from the sound making to the stage settings, the current Yngwie does not feel any “blur” at all. This is also his characteristic of ``going his own way.'' In this work, you can fully see Yngwie's current progress. Please enjoy the awesomeness and splendor of Yngwie's live performance that cannot be conveyed with just the sound source with this work. Live at Saban Theatre, Beverly Hills, CA.
