From the 2001 "WAR TO END ALL WARS" US tour, the Atlanta performance on March 18th is completely recorded with the highest level of ultra-high quality audience recording boasting an astonishingly direct feeling. You can enjoy the live performance of Yngwie during the short-lived period of Jorn Lande with unprecedented sound. The sound balance is also excellent, and Jorn's vocals and Yngwie's guitar are recorded with amazingly clear sound. John Macaluso's drums, who will be fired after this tour, are also recorded tight and clear, and Randy Coven's bass is also recorded with a sound with excellent separation so that all notes can be clearly heard. Nevertheless, you can enjoy the atmosphere and exquisite sound spread unique to audience recording, and you can enjoy Yngwie's stage in the rare period with the ideal sound. The previous year, they produced "WAR TO END ALL WARS" with Mark Boals as the vocalist, but the tour fee could not be agreed upon and Mark left. Just in December, a tour with Dio & Warlock was scheduled, with Jeff Scott Soto playing a few shows, and Jorn took over after that. In the end, after a big fight with Yngwie, Jorn left the band in the middle of the US tour (Yngwie had no choice but to play a few shows without a vocalist), but everyone recognizes Jorn's vocal ability, and his tremendous vocal volume and superb control of the high range are truly impressive, and the gloss and texture of his voice are a perfect fit for Yngwie's songs, so there is no doubt that he is one of the best vocalists of all time. (A specialist magazine's overseas live report also praised Jorn, saying, "Jorn is more suitable for this band than Yngwie's previous singers.") A live performance with Dio was held at the same venue four months earlier, on December 12, 2000, but it was a short set because it was a package live, but this performance is of course a full-set concert, and you can enjoy the live performance of the "WAR TO END ALL WARS" tour with Jorn as the vocalist with ideal sound. (Drummer John Macaluso has also left the band along with Jorn, and Tim Donough is in charge of the European and Japanese performances.) In front of enthusiastic fans, the band puts on a powerful show, and Yngwie seems pleased with the reaction of the crowd, giving passionate MCs and hyping up the crowd at various points. Yngwie's introduction of the members in the second half of the concert, shouting "Best, best, best members!", is a bit of a "?" feeling considering the big problems that occurred later and Yngwie's harsh comments about Jorn and John when he came to Japan, but anyway, the performance with the whole group as one is the best. At the beginning of the familiar Preludium to Wild One on this tour, the vocal microphone was off, and although there was a title call before I'll See The Light Tonight, there were minor problems such as the equipment not being able to start well, but the flow and content of the live performance were both wonderful, and you can enjoy a lot of performances that are worth listening to. The sound quality, value, and content are all in one, and this is the long-awaited strongest Yngwie title! Live at Masquerade, Atlanta, GA. USA 18th March 2001 PERFECT SOUND Disc 1 1. Intro. 2.
