A famous video representative of "TRILOGY TOUR 1986-1987" will be released. The representative video is "Toronto performance on October 21, 1986". Although it is a long-known audience shot, this work is an upgrade master that has recently appeared. First of all, let's imagine the position of the show from the overall picture of "TRILOGY TOUR", which was the pinnacle of performance as a performer. [1986] August 31-November 2: North America # 1 (40 performances) ← ★ Coco ★ "TRILOGY" North America release on November 4th November 7-14: Japan (6 performances) November 25-December 20: North America # 2 (19 performances) [1987] January 7-20: North America # 3 (10 performances) This is the overview of the tour. There are some ambiguities in the data at that time, so please do not believe the number of performances, but I think you can imagine the approximate flow. Except for the Japanese performances, they have toured North America thoroughly, and the Toronto performance of this work is the opening "North America # 1". While "TRILOGY" was released in Japan, it was still in North America. At this time, there was a change of direction from Mark Boals' departure to Jeff Scott Soto's return, and Jeff is the one singing in this work. The quality of this work is a truly wonderful audience shot. Some of you may have seen it, but the angle is slightly downcast, perhaps because it was a stand seat in front of the stage. Above all, the arms and heads of the front row are not reflected, and only the stage occupies the screen, making it an excellent view. Moreover, the camera work is also wonderful. Speaking of 1986, it was when home video cameras began to spread. It was an era when the equipment was large even for shooting concerts from the audience seats, and shooting techniques were still in development. However, it is hard to believe that this work was in such an era. The sense of stability is wonderful, perhaps because the handrail is used as a tripod, and yet Yngwie, who runs around the stage freely, is captured tightly and does not let go. Between songs, the camera may be repositioned, and it may go out of frame, but even if you boldly zoom in to the bust during the performance, there is almost no camera shake. The show depicted with that quality is also amazing...amazing! What is amazing is, of course, the young Yngwie. Rapid-fire, rapid-fire, rapid-fire phrases that shine with ferocious speed... Moreover, the grain of each sound is beautiful, and no matter how much it accelerates, it does not become distorted. Despite that unparalleled accuracy, there is no mechanical tastelessness at all, and the improvisation of the singing heart that seems to be the sound as it is is overflowing and does not stop. Even now, Yngwie exudes the awesomeness of an originator, but he was extraordinary up until 1987. The world of rock guitar is a polytheistic religion of eight million, but was there any other god who synchronized "technology, innovation, sense, and passion" at a heavenly level like Yngwie of this era? The video is overwhelmingly overwhelmed by Yngwie, but the other members are also geniuses, so it's amazing. Jeff is also in top form, boldly attacking the difficult "TRILOGY" number, and the magician Jens, the only one who could compete with the young Yngwie, shows off his amazing fingers. And the unexpected hidden player is Wally Voss on bass. To be honest, it's hard to understand his greatness in an Yngwie-centric way, but he is also an undeniable genius. Recently, Joey Tafolla has joined the GRAHAM BONNET BAND, and it's been a hot topic, but it was Wally who played bass on Joey's masterpiece "OUT OF THE SUN". The bass solo he played on "Eternity's End" and the intro to "Samurai" were so classical and beautiful, and full of song. It made the maniacs say, "It's better than Billy Sheehan who played on Macalpine's 1st album." In the end, Wally left the Yngwie band without leaving any official recordings, and died of illness at the young age of 34 in 1992. Even in this work, Yngwie is so amazing that it is hard to say that Wally's talent is exploding, but you can clearly see his appearance in life here and there. The set is also gorgeous, including the "TRILOGY" number sung by Jeff (singing six of the nine songs on the album), "Soldier Without Faith" that was not seen in "CHASING YNGWIE", and "Highway Star" by DEEP PURPLE. Yngwie pierces it with a light speed passage.... This work shows a neo-classical utopia that will never return and has never been replaced. This is the highest version of that classic video. Please enjoy Yngwie Malmsteen, the "miracle guitarist". The portrait of Yngwie written on the cloth covering the drum kit and the words "R.I.P. EDWARD VAN HALEN" written in large letters are also intense! Live at Massey Hall, Toronto, ON. Canada 21st October 1986 Disc 1(50:40) 1. I'll See The Light Tonight 2. Fury 3. Queen In Love 4.
