This 54-minute color video collection, with original menus, is a collection of the best quality 8mm footage from Yes's 1976 "Solo Tour," 1977 "Ultimate Tour," and 1978 "Tomato Tour," supervised by Tour Man, a world authority on rare Yes audio and video. This is the definitive collection of rare Yes footage from the late 1970s, with clear images and sound that seem to be close to the master (direct?) without any sense of dubbing degradation. Since the video era, this type of video collection has always been "valuable, but the image quality is...", but the video pieces included here are of such high quality that they could be used as official titles as they are. Furthermore, in the parts that were originally silent and Tour Man gave up on overlaying sound (about 15 minutes in total), he has incorporated the best sound for each part, making it a more complete original work. If you watch it, you can see the quality and the wonderful workmanship. It is an amazing masterpiece that makes you think, "Has there ever been such a beautiful video before?" First, the opening is a 22-minute video of the Philadelphia Spectrum performance on September 11th from the 1978 Tomato Tour, commonly known as "IN THE ROUND". It was filmed at "SUPER 8", but as it is described as a "semi-pro shot", it is a high-quality long-distance and close-up video, and the content is perfect as if you were watching a TV broadcast. Not only the members' actions but also their expressions are clearly visible, and fans will be stunned and captivated by the magnificent video taken from all sides due to the advantage of the rotating stage. The sound is also almost perfectly synchronized. Next is a 20-minute recording of the New Haven performance on August 8th from the 1977 Ultimate Tour. This is a 8mm video taken at the audience at that time, and the screen is shaky compared to the '78 Spectrum, but the focus is firmly set and not out of focus, so you can enjoy this precious video without any stress. The audio is also beautifully patched with the audience recording on the day, and the music is also worth watching. The footage of the '77 North American tour is rare, and fans will be moved by this. In the first half of "Crisis", the original 8mm audio is noisy, but you should not be stingy with such precious material. "Comrade" has audio, but the second half, Awaken, Roudabout, was silent, so this one has been patched with audio from the Boston performance on August 12th to make it easier to enjoy. Next is the live performance at Hartford Colt Park on June 19th from the 1976 solo tour, also captured in beautiful vintage 8mm footage. The first two minutes are footage of the stage setting before the start when it was still light. It was raining that day, and the instruments covered with vinyl sheets can be seen in vivid footage. Patrick Moraz is also seen diligently checking the keyboard. The live footage is a little dark, but the members are clearly visible under the lights, and this is also 100% worth watching. The footage is fragmented, and Tourman seems to have given up on incorporating sound, so the original was recorded silently, but this disc effectively incorporates the pre-start announcement, Ritual, Roundabout, as effective background music, creating a stress-free 10-minute enjoyment. The lighting set, unique to the solo tour and designed by Roger Dean, and Alan's powerful drum solo can be seen in clear footage. The last footage is about one minute of the Waterbury performance on October 9th from Rick Wakeman's 1976 "King Arthur" North American tour, recorded in clear 8mm footage. Although the content is fragmented, the image quality is clear, and although it is short, it is well worth watching. You can see fragments of the band performance scene of the English Ensemble as well as Rick. This part was also silent, so Free Song from the Boston performance on October 11th has been overlaid. There has never been such a high-quality 8mm film video collection of Yes from the late 1970s, and to be honest, if it is such a high-quality item, I think that the true feelings of enthusiasts would be that they would have wanted it to be released on a press DVD. In any case, if you are a Yes fan, this is a decisive piece that I think you cannot afford not to see this video. Boasting impressive content and quality, this is a high-quality vintage video collection that is a must-have and must-see for fans! Umtimate 8mm film compilation from 1976 to 1978 AMAZING QUALITY!
