The live performance at the Hitomi Memorial Hall in Tokyo on September 19th, the third day of the 2024 Japan tour, which was also the final stop of the 55th anniversary debut "THE CLASSIC TALES OF YES Tour", was recorded in full for 1 hour and 58 minutes from the high quality digital audience master. First of all, this live performance, which was the first in two years and the final of three consecutive performances at the same hall, reproduced "Tales of Topographic Oceans" as a new suite of about 20 minutes, just like the first day on the 16th. Although it is in medley format, the re-arrangement is well-crafted and there is no sense of cut and pasting, so much so that I would like to see it re-recorded as a renewed version as it is. The other selected songs are also fresh, and the only four standard numbers played on the two recent visits to Japan are "I've Seen All Good People", "Siberian Khatru", "Roundabout", and "Starship Trooper", and the rest are songs that have not been played here in Japan for a long time. In addition, the band's performance skills have definitely improved since two years ago, and Steve Howe's lively playing in particular felt even more relaxed than in the previous two performances, even with the exact same set list. In addition, this is the band's last live performance in the Kanto region, so it's a must-have Japan-only memorial item for fans.
