The live performance at the Hitomi Memorial Hall in Tokyo on September 18th, the second day of the 2024 Japan tour, which was also the final stop of the 55th anniversary debut "THE CLASSIC TALES OF YES Tour", was recorded in full for 1 hour and 58 minutes from the high quality digital audience master. First of all, the live performance, which was the first in two years and was the middle day of three consecutive performances at the same hall, reproduced "Tales of Topographic Oceans" as a new suite of about 20 minutes, just like the first day on the 16th, and although it is in medley format, it is well-crafted and rearranged without any cut-and-paste feeling, so much so that I would like it to be re-recorded as a renewed version as it is. The other selected songs are also fresh, and the only four standard numbers played on the two recent visits to Japan are "I've Seen All Good People", "Siberian Khatru", "Roundabout", and "Starship Trooper", and the rest are songs that have not been played here in Japan for a long time. In addition, the performance has definitely scaled up from two years ago, and Steve Howe's lively play in particular is a Japan-only memorial item that feels more spacious than the first day, even with the exact same set list.
