From the 2024 Japan tour, which was also the final stop of the 55th anniversary debut "THE CLASSIC TALES OF YES Tour", the live performance at the Hitomi Memorial Hall in Tokyo on September 16th, the memorable first day, was recorded in full from the master with a good audience shot for 1 hour and 49 minutes. This is part of the "THE FUTURE PAST" world tour that continued from the previous year, and since the visit to Japan for the 2020 "LEGACY OF THE BEAST Tour" was canceled due to COVID-19, it will be the first visit to Japan since 2016. And the image from this digital camera is mainly from the front row on the right side of the arena near the stage, and the position where Steve Howe is right in front of you, there are no obstacles and it is stable from start to finish, and in the parts where it was impossible to shoot from here, it was supplemented with another three camera images, completely reproducing the full live performance on the day. This was their first visit to Japan in two years, and the first day of three consecutive shows in Tokyo. As with their North American tour, they recreated "Tales of Topographic Oceans" as a new suite of about 20 minutes. Although it was in medley format, the arrangement was well-crafted and there was no sense of cut and pasting, so much so that I would like to see it re-recorded as a renewed version. The other selected songs were also fresh, and the only four standard songs they played in their two recent visits to Japan were "I've Seen All Good People," "Siberian Khatru," "Roundabout," and "Starship Trooper," and the rest were songs that hadn't been played here in Japan for a long time. In addition, their performance skills have definitely scaled up since two years ago, and Steve Howe's lively playing in particular was just as stable in the subsequent shows, so this commemorative item is a limited edition of their visit to Japan that captures the first day of the show.
