This is amazing! The birth of a superb stereo soundboard-class album that recorded the latest visit to Japan. This work is engraved with "September 12, 2022: Orchard Hall performance". It is the ultimate matrix album of stereo IEM recording + superb audience recording. Speaking of YES's latest visit to Japan, the release of all performance audience recordings at once was just a hot topic the other day, but now stereo IEM has appeared. This time, three performances were held at Orchard Hall, all with different sets. First of all, let's take a look back at the schedule and check the position of the show. September 5th: Orchard Hall September 6th: Orchard Hall September 8th: NHK Osaka Hall September 9th: Village Hall September 12th: Orchard Hall ←★This work★ All five performances. This work was the third day of Orchard Hall and the final day of the entire Japan tour. The final day of the aforementioned "All Performances Released at Once" was also lined up, but that was a complete audience. This work also uses audience recording as a matrix material, but it is a completely separate recording. Moreover, both the in-ear monitor material and the audience material are original recordings only for this work, given to us by the recorder himself, and it is a shocking live album that will be released to the world for the first time. Of course, it's not a big deal just because it's the first time. What is truly shocking is the sound quality, which is at a level that can be said to be "just like an official" super-excellent sound board. Even if you say "IEM + AUD matrix" in one bite, there are various personalities, and some people may think of a sound where only the core sticks out from the audience recording. However, this work is completely different from that kind of thing. The balance is clearly "IEM is the master / audience is the servant", and the core of the zero distance & intense separation feeling that can only be a sound board flies freely. In fact, just listening to this work does not reveal the audience elements. It is true that the performance sound is rich for an IEM intercept, and it is thick and shiny like an official work. However, I am not sure if it is a hall sound effect, and unless I am told that it is a matrix... No, even if I am told that it is really a matrix, it is a line-like, close-fitting sound with the best balance of the mix. The full show that was excited by the complete reproduction of "Crisis" is depicted with such a beautiful superb in-ear monitor sound source. Many people may remember the masterpiece "TOKYO 2016: ORIGINAL IEM RECORDING" when it comes to their IEM sound source in Japan. Of course, the set is significantly different this time, so let's compare and organize it here. Complete reproduction of "Crisis" Close To The Edge (★) / And You And I / Siberian Khatru (★) Others Third album: Yours Is No Disgrace (★) / Starship Trooper Solo time: To Be Over (★) / Leaves Of Green / Video Killed The Radio Star (★) Others: Roundabout / Wonderous Stories (★) / On The Silent Wings Of Freedom (★) / Does It Really Happen? (★) / The Ice Bridge (★) *Note: The "★" mark indicates a song that could not be heard in "TOKYO 2016: ORIGINAL IEM RECORDING". ...And so it goes. In 2016, the show started with a tribute to Chris Squire, but this time it started with a tribute to Alan White. Feelings that cannot be expressed in a single word come and go, but after that, there is a parade of rare songs. As expected, the standard staples such as "Starship Trooper", "Roundabout", and "And You And I" are the same as six years ago, but the rest are almost the same, and this time is much rarer. As soon as the band appeared, they performed "On The Silent Wings Of Freedom", which was released for the first time in Japan, and showed off fresh masterpieces such as "Does It Really Happen?" and the new song "The Ice Bridge" from "THE QUEST". Furthermore, the final performance is a special set different from the other days. Howe's solo corner starting with "To Be Over" develops into "Leaves of Green", and even moves to Geoff Downes' solo and lets you listen to "Video Killed the Radio Star". Anyway, this is the birth of a shocking super-excellent soundboard-class IEM matrix sound source. Just having the latest performance in Japan poured directly into your brain is enough to give you goosebumps, but it's irresistible because it's a full set of the 50th anniversary tour of "Crisis". Moreover, it is of completely official quality... A cultural heritage album from Japan that will forever symbolize the "50th anniversary of the crisis" worldwide. Stereo IEM recording of "September 12, 2022: Orchard Hall performance". The first-ever IEM soundboard sound source of this work is matrixed with the finest audience recording, and the sound is official class. The core of the zero distance and intense separation feeling flies freely, while the performance sound is rich, and it has thickness like an official work and shines with a glossy shine. This is the birth of a cultural heritage album that will forever symbolize the 50th anniversary tour of "Crisis".
