The final day of the 2016 Japan tour, a masterpiece live album is here. The true identity of this work is the audience album of the "November 29, 2016 Orchard Hall performance". This Japan tour was reported to have one super-powerful recording after another, and it was like a sound source abnormality. We were able to deliver the apex recording for all performances. First of all, let's take a look at the lineup.・November 21: Orchard Hall "TOKYO 2016 1ST NIGHT"・November 22: Orchard Hall "TOKYO 2016 2ND NIGHT"・November 24: Osaka Orix Theater "OSAKA 2016"・November 25: Zepp Nagoya "NAGOYA 2016"・November 28: Orchard Hall "TOKYO 2016 3RD NIGHT"・November 29: Orchard Hall [This work] In this way, all six performances were preserved. These six are the apex recordings of each performance, but the abundance this time is truly abnormal. Among such a huge group of famous recordings, this work is a miracle recording that can be called the "apex of the apex". It is not "of this day", it is not "of Tokyo", it is the apex of "all performances". The sound is a dimension that I don't know how to put into words. The highest peak so far was "NAGOYA 2016", but if you have heard that masterpiece, you will think "it can't be more than that". In fact, we thought so too. However, this work is "more than that" that should not exist ... No, I have no intention of degrading "NAGOYA 2016". Even if I listen to "NAGOYA 2016" again now that I know this work, it is a miracle. The sound board is also a super direct sound that runs away barefoot, and it is a superb board with a vivid super direct sound. However, this work also has the same super direct feeling, and the very slight sound of the venue has a beautiful "sound". What I want to emphasize here is that the sound of the venue is at a level where you can hear it or not. Compared to the intense direct feeling of "NAGOYA 2016", it is a modest sound that you can only notice the presence of the sound for the first time. However, it is because of that that the musical sound is even more beautiful, and it manifests a height that even the sound board and official album cannot reach. Of course, there are preferences for sound, so it is not strange to prefer the extremely direct "NAGOYA 2016". However, even those who feel that way will not disagree that "a miracle happened twice". Of course, it was the skill of a famous recordist that caused this miracle. But that's not all. In fact, the reputation of the PA at each venue on this Japan tour was not so good. However, only on this final day, the PA sound itself on site was wonderful. This is a fact that even enthusiasts who have been to all the performances have testified. In other words, "NAGOYA 2016" was a miracle that "the sound was better than the on-site sound", but this work is a miracle that "even the on-site PA lent a hand". I've been talking about sound for a long time, but the content is also special. You can hear plenty of great performances with plenty of spirit and concentration for the final performance. If I could add one more thing, please pay attention to the date. "November 29th" of this work is the same day as the last day of the Japanese performance two years ago. And that day was also Chris Squire's last concert. Chris passed away in June, but his "death anniversary as a musician" was "November 29th". I don't know if the members were concerned about the date, but there is no way they could forget that "the last time with Chris" was in Japan. The last day after returning to Japan. The performance contained in this work is so beautiful that it is hard to believe that such consciousness is at work. Two years have passed since Chris' last night. On the same "November 29th", a miracle occurred. The on-site PA sounded lustrous, and the beauty was captured by a transcendent recording that far exceeded the "limits of the audience". A masterpiece among masterpieces, with a sound that reaches the peak of the bumper Japan tour. An exceptional piece that shines in the history of Japan performances that spans 43 years since the first visit to Japan.
