Two major decision board videos related to "GOING FOR THE ONE" are now available on DVD! Disc 1 contains a super upgraded version of the "Ultimate" session in Montreux, Switzerland in 1976. Disc 2 is a decision board that is exactly as its name suggests, with the Glasgow Apollo performance on November 8th, from the UK tour accompanying the recently released 1977 "Ultimate", recorded with the highest image quality and sound quality ever. Disc 1 contains a super upgraded version of the "Ultimate" session in Montreux, Switzerland in 1976. It was released before and amazed all fans, saying "Is there such a beautiful video?". "There is something there!!!" The upgraded screen that amazes enthusiasts (except for some, there is almost no screen shaking or tracking noise) and the super high-quality line recording sound that really surprises everyone (seriously 3 ranks up!). This is the content that can be used for the official documentary video title. This is a one-hour title that picks out the best parts from the original two-hour video, and allows you to enjoy only the best tracks. Until now, the image quality was severely deteriorated due to dubbing, and there were some mediocre parts, so it was difficult for anyone other than enthusiasts to enjoy it, but this is a very good quality album that can be enjoyed by Yes fans as well as general rock fans. Fans will definitely think "Huh?" at the clear organ sound of Rick at the beginning of Parallels. After that, clear images pop out one after another, filling the screen just like the sound, greatly fascinating fans. The next "Tour Discussion" is a scene that is originally disturbed by tracking noise, but the conversation that sounds clearer is very important for fans. The band session of the third track, Parallels, which is nearly six minutes long, is worth watching and listening to! It's like a dream to be able to listen to this with such clear sound. The image quality and the contours are very beautiful and impressive. The scenes of John and Chris recording their songs are also really great, and it's really moving to see how the parts of the sound that make up that famous song are created so realistically. It's also moving to see young Steve and Chris recording Bob Dylan's cover song side by side on such a beautiful screen. Steve's steel guitar recording in Going For The One and the chorus recording in Going For The One and Parallels, which are almost at the final stage while Chris is looking at the paper with the lyrics written on it, are also must-sees. In Awaken, the members have fun recording with various percussion and ethnic instruments that they brought into the studio, and it's great. After Steve's one-minute ad-lib solo on the Telecaster guitar, we record the basic track of Parallels, and you can enjoy the powerful and solid performance of Howe, Chris, and Alan. Vevey is a collaboration between the familiar harp played by John and Rick's keyboard. You can hear a very tasteful performance full of classical atmosphere. The familiar keyboard check scene in the studio with Rick is also surprising with the high quality of the screen and sound. It's really surprising that you can see Rick's yellow T-shirt so clearly. Next is a nearly 10-minute performance of Parallels by all the members, a must-see take that represents this album. (I know I'm repeating myself) Really beautiful sound and image!! Parallels is still in its very early stages. It's truly miraculous to be able to see the band's passionate performance of the song over and over again in vivid yet clear images, as if from the perspective of a studio staff member. In the second half, the famous Parallelels session, where Rick plays on the pipe organ and the band plays together, is also recorded in amazing high quality. It's worth getting this album just to watch these 6 minutes! The song is quite close to completion, and you can enjoy the performance of the members as one (vocals are off). A rare black and white silent film of Alan playing the piano, Steve enjoying some suspicious cigarettes (?), and even a short, but heated performance in the studio of Awaken. At the end, Steve plays the acoustic guitar on Turn Of The Century, recorded with very clear images and sound. This is a must-see film that will keep you glued to the screen for an hour. This is a must-see for fans who are well aware of quality, from the video era to recent DVDs. Disc 2 is a DVD that completely records the performance at the Glasgow Apollo in Scotland on November 8th from the UK tour accompanying "Ultimate" in 1977, with the highest image quality and sound quality ever. In recent years, the highest image quality version ever released by Tourman, the world authority on Yes. Compared to the previously released best album that appeared a few years ago, the image quality has been upgraded significantly, and it is easy to see that this version is a completely different generation. From the colorful lighting that shines on the curtain at the beginning, the difference is completely obvious. The difference is so clear that anyone can tell at a glance by comparing. In addition, the sound is recorded with a clear, powerful sound that seems to have come out earlier, and this has also been completely upgraded (the sound has been remastered for this release and is even clearer). The parts that had blurred edges in the previous release are now clearly visible, and the details of the screen are clearer than ever. In particular, I am impressed by the fact that the parts that were illuminated by the red light, which was quite blurred in the previous release, have become very tight images. As with the previous releases, the original seems to be a tripod video taken from the second floor, and not only the full view of the stage but also the close-up scenes of each member are effectively featured. The focus is also solid, so you can enjoy it without stress, and the close-up scenes are recorded without the screen being blurred, so you can enjoy the "moving ultimate tour footage" with a very vivid and lively feel. Steve's appearance of overwhelming the audience with his energetic action and fast playing is full of power, including his outstanding play. Every song is full of things to listen to and see, and it's a record that lets you reaffirm the greatness of Yes' performance in the late 1970s. (In the part called Wakey's Magic Feat, you can see a humorous scene where Rick plays the piano with his feet, which gets a cheer from the fans.) In addition, the previously released bonus track included a black and white film of the London Wembley Arena performance on October 27, 1977, but the quality was also quite poor. This time, you can see the precious video of the live performance on the second day of the Paris tour on December 6, 1977, which was recorded with a single camera for 7 minutes with high quality professional shots. The image quality and sound are also very good, and this video can be used for television broadcast as it is. The rare video shot from Steve's side and back is intense! In addition to a part of And You And I, Going For The One is fully recorded, and at the end, all the members are lined up and greeted from the side. This rare bonus video alone is worth getting this edition. This two-disc DVD contains 2 hours and 37 minutes of studio sessions, live performances, and the ultimate era of Yes, all in the highest quality ever recorded. Both discs come with original menus.
