The Igor Koroshev and Billy Sherwood era is said to be the “strongest YES of the 90s.” A masterpiece containing that powerful ensemble on a stereo sound board has been revived with a newly discovered upgraded master. That powerful sound board is “March 27, 1998 Katowice Performance (Poland)”. This recording itself has been known for a long time and appeared as “THE REVEALING IN POLAND”. Even back then, it was an extremely high-quality disc that received great praise as ``official-level ultra-superior stereo soundboard recording'' and ``the strongest line recording.'' It's hard to say "sound board" in one word, but this recording is definitely "pin". It's extremely clear, and it feels like you're plugging the plug directly into your ear...or should I say it's an immersive feeling, like your head has become a playback machine. It was a masterpiece so vivid that each note of the complex ensemble was etched into the creases of your brain. I suddenly started praising him fiercely, but this is just a story that has already been said. This work is a new excavation master of such a special sound board. I thought to myself, ``How on earth could that sound be any better?'' When I played it back, it blew me away. I just realized that the already released master was super terrible in the second half of the show, but the first half was not that great (although it was amazing). The brilliant clarity remained the same throughout, but the sound was somehow thinner and I felt it had a slightly IEM-like nuance. However! In this new master, the super sound that was felt in the second half dominates the whole story! I thought that even what had already happened was perfect, but I didn't know that it could be "more than that." I'm sorry if I misled you into thinking, "Is the second half the same as the previous episode?" I was just surprised by the upgrade in the first half, and the best sound of the new master is consistent in the second half. The live performance revived with such quality is also amazing. This work is “OPEN YOUR EYES AND 30TH ANNIVERSARY TOUR” with Igor & Billy, but only the title song and “From The Balcony” are included from the new work “OPEN YOUR EYES”. In addition, a group of famous songs that overlook the career suitable for celebrating the 30th anniversary are released one after another. Of course, there are some familiar major songs, but that's not all. Including ``Wonderous Stories'' and ``Tempus Fugit,'' which were heard at the Japan performance, there are also ``The Revealing Science Of God,'' ``America,'' Steve Howe's ``Corkscrew,'' and even JON & VANGELIS' ``Polonaise.'' Although this member also has an official work "HOUSE OF YES: LIVE FROM HOUSE OF BLUES", there are only about 5 songs that are duplicated with this work. You can listen to a show like a complementary version of “HOUSE OF YES” on a perfect official sound board. The sound, the set, and even the performance are great. Although Rick Wakeman is not present in this work, Igor and Billy are more than capable of filling the void. In particular, Igor is a Rick fanatic, so his performance respects the tradition of YES, and his skill is a master. What's more, it's not a complete copy; it's played roughly according to the original phrase, but it's also mixed with neo-prog tones at key points to make it more colorful. Classics that have been brought back to life with a fresh sound without losing their original image. It is packed full of such great performances. The “90s” in YES history lacked sensational hits and conceptual live shows, but the level of perfection of the classic show was amazing. Especially when they welcomed Igor & Billy, they boasted the best band potential of the 90's. A masterpiece that captures it with the finest and special grade stereo sound board. “Good sound,” “good music,” and “good performance.” A live album that has all the essential elements of a great music album, not just bootlegs.
