The live performance at Osaka NHK Hall on September 25th, the final performance of the 55th anniversary debut "THE CLASSIC TALES OF YES Tour", was recorded in full for two hours from a high-quality digital audience master. First of all, the live performance in Osaka, which was the last performance of all six performances including the 3 days in Tokyo, was a unified set for this visit to Japan for the first time in two years. As with the previous five performances, "Tales of Topographic Oceans" was reproduced as a new suite of about 20 minutes, and although it is in medley format, there is no sense of cut and pasting in the well-crafted rearrangement, so I would like to see it re-recorded as a renewed version as it is. The other selected songs are also fresh, and the only four standard numbers played in the two recent visits to Japan are "I've Seen All Good People", "Siberian Khatru", "Roundabout", and "Starship Trooper", and the rest are songs that have not been played here in Japan for a long time. In addition, the band's performance has definitely improved since two years ago, and Steve Howe's lively playing was particularly impressive on the final day. This is also the final performance of the world tour, so this is a must-have Japan-only memorial item for fans.
