YES in 1984 opened the door to a new era with their ambitious work "90125" and embarked on their first world tour in a long time. A radio album that brings back those days in reality has been decided to be released. The true identity of this work is the YES special program "1984: On Tour And On The Radio Post Concert Special" broadcast on D.I.R. Radio. It is not an air check, but an ultimate quality board that was directly digitized from the extremely rare master recording of a 3-LP set produced by ABC Radio Networks. Speaking of 1984, it was about four years after the "DRAMA Tour". From today's perspective, "4 years" doesn't seem like a big deal, but it was a long gap by the standards of the scene in the 1980s. The release of the new work "90125" and the announcement of the world tour were also a long-awaited revival. This work is a special program produced and broadcast to promote the US tour. In order to recall such a situation, let's first take a bird's-eye view of the activities at that time. 1983: November 11th, release of "90125" 1984: February 28th - May 15th: North America #1 (62 shows), June 11th - July 26th: Europe (32 shows), August 9th - October 1st: North America #2 (41 shows) ←※Official footage 1985: January 17th - February 9th: South America (6 shows) November 7th, release of "9012LIVE: THE SOLOS" This is YES from 1983 to 1985. The broadcast date of this work is unknown, but it plays live recordings from the latest tour and also announces the European leg. Judging from the content, it seems to be during or after "North America #1". Such a program features original interviews with the members, and in between they introduce the latest recordings (at the time). Although the interviews are mainly with John Anderson (three times), all five members appear individually, not as a group. Tony Kaye and Alan White (twice) also give thorough responses. The comments are about mochi theory, and even the tone of their voices exudes a sense of fulfillment at being back at the forefront again with the huge success of "90125". Furthermore, the commercials inserted throughout the program are not for unrelated products, but announcements for YES. The era of loudly advertising "YES is Back!!" is perfect. The highlight of the program is the YES music played in between segments. About half of the new album "90125" is featured, four songs "Owner Of A Lonely Heart", "It Can Happen", "Changes", and "Leave It", but the classics are even more delicious. Although the recording dates are unknown, you can enjoy three songs that have been revived with a glittering ensemble from the 80s, "I've Seen All Good People", "Roundabout", and "Starship Trooper". YES entered its second golden age with Trevor Rabin. This radio album will bring the atmosphere of that dazzling era to life. A radio program from the "90125" era has been released. This special YES program promoting the "9012 Live Tour" has been released on CD directly from the extremely rare broadcast master recording, and you can enjoy interviews with the five members and their latest live performances (at the time).
