In 1972, with Alan White as the new drummer, from the summer North American tour held just before the release of "Crisis", Columbia on August 13th recorded the Merriweather Post Pavilion performance in an ultra-high quality audience recording! It is recorded with even better sound quality than the previously released "Suite Distance", the pitch is accurate, and it is recorded for 2 minutes longer. It is recorded at a surprisingly high level of sound for an audience seating recording at the time, which can almost only be heard on a sound board recording, and you can enjoy the overwhelming performance that was in the spirit of Yes at this time. Rick's solo section, which had a problem with hiss noise in previous releases, has been considerably eased in this version. Alan's drumming blends very well with Yes's majestic ensemble, and fans can enjoy a moment of bliss as they listen to the overwhelming performance.
