A must-have title for fans that completely records the Boston Garden performance on August 31st, the third day of the 1978 "Tomato" tour, the second day of the Boston performance, with the highest level of high-quality audience recording for 2 hours and 6 minutes. It's here. The song "Releasing The Paralles" (HL) has already been released for this performance, but the order of the songs has been changed haphazardly, the recording time is 93 minutes, which is 30 minutes shorter than the main version, and the sound quality is also poor. The content was poor and by no means satisfactory. This version is definitely a recording from that day, as John sang "Just One More Time In Boston" in the MC before Future Times, and the sound quality is at the highest level. It can be said to be the decisive album for the second day of the performance. The sound is very close, the overall spaciousness, the sense of separation is excellent, and the voices of the enthusiastic audience are included in a well-balanced manner, making it a model sound for 70's audience recordings. The punch of the sound is amazing, and it's an iron-clad sound where you can feel the band's groove and energy directly coming through. Even when I'm listening to it now, it's a really good recording, and the performance is also great! It seems like they made a lot of preparation before the tour started, and it's really surprising how well they performed at this early stage of the tour. This sound source is from the beginning of the tour, so the selling point is that you can listen to the rare songs Release, Release and Paralleles (as the HL version also has in its title). The former is a rare take that has not been confirmed to have been performed since Springfield on September 2nd (it has only been performed 6 times). The latter is also a rare take that will not be played after the New York MSG performance on the 8th day of the tour. (Maybe they decided to drop it because Awaken was included in the previous work ``Ultimate''.) There is a scene where the keyboard sound suddenly disappears during Siberian Kahtru's keyboard solo, which makes me nervous. You can enjoy the show as a whole with great performances and vocals. The guitar solo in the second half of Siberian Kahtru is so powerful that the audience roars in excitement. All the sounds are recorded clearly, but the vivid sound of the drums is especially the best, and you can truly enjoy the performance. The performance content and sound quality are top-notch.
