The classic soundboard, which has also been adopted for the official "YESSHOWS" and has been called the "sequel to YESSONGS", has been brushed up. It has been decided to release it on 2CD with the highest peak updated sound by "GRAF ZEPPELIN". This work is engraved with "Wembley performance (evening session) on October 28, 1978". It is a stereo soundboard recording. Speaking of professional records in the late 1970s, the official video "LIVE IN PHILADELPHIA 1979" is the first, and the masterpieces "DEFINITIVE RICHFIELD 1978" and "THE GUARDIAN OF HEAVEN" are also familiar. First of all, let's take a bird's-eye view of the activities at that time and check the positional relationship of each. 1978; “TORMATO Tour” August 28-October 8: North America #1 (38 performances) ←※DEFINITIVE RICHFIELD 1978 October 26-28: UK (4 performances) ←★Here★ 1979: “TEN TRUE SUMMERS Tour” April 9-May 8: North America #2 (27 performances) ←※THE GUARDIAN OF HEAVEN May 24-June 30: North America #3 (32 performances) ←※Official PHILA DELPHIA 1979 The classic SBD, also known as “YESSONGS of 1978” This is YES in 1978/1979. Almost exclusively in North America. The only exception was the “UK” leg, which was set at the end of the “TORMATO Tour”. Only four consecutive performances at Wembley Arena were held in just three days, and this work was recorded at that final performance. Such a stage was broadcast on BBC Radio 1's famous program "Friday Rock Show" and was a standard that produced many existing groups. What's most wonderful is the balance of sound quality and recording time. Although "DEFINITIVE RICHFIELD 1978" is long, the sound is not official class, and while "THE GUARDIAN OF HEAVEN" has good sound, the length of two sound sources on one CD was not enough. However, the Wembley broadcast was overwhelmingly official class sound because of the prestigious BBC, and as mentioned at the beginning, "Don't Kill the Whale" and "I've Seen All Good People" were adopted by "YESSHOWS". Moreover, the recording time was a large volume of about 1 hour and 58 minutes, and it was the best sound board worthy of being called "the symbol of TORMATO Tour" and "the sequel to YESSONGS". This work, meticulously mastered by "GRAF ZEPPELIN" suitable for the apex sound source, is the highest peak update of such a classic sound board. The best was "WEMBLEY 1978 FINAL NIGHT", but this work is not a copy or remaster. "GRAF ZEPPELIN" has polished the original master of that masterpiece. Our customers have probably experienced the extraordinary precision of "GRAF ZEPPELIN" mastering, and this work also uses that technique. The "sound output at that time" is reproduced by using all kinds of heavy drinkers, such as pitch correction that does not allow even 1/1000th of a second of deviation and balance adjustment after band analysis, but what was particularly effective this time was the phase correction. Phase shifts are difficult to recognize, but the key is the stereo feeling. Even if the phase is slightly shifted, the stereo feeling will be biased. Even for Wembley broadcasts, the conventional master was roughly to the left, but this work is aligned in the center. Even if you didn't mind the conventional version, if you return to the previous version after experiencing this work, you will feel like your head is being pulled to the left. Another thing to mention is noise processing. The original master was superb, so there was almost no petit noise, but there was a slight hum noise. This work carefully removes it. It achieves a noiseless beauty that is almost unnoticeable even between songs and quiet parts. This is not just about reducing noise. Great care is taken not to affect the performance sound when processing. Therefore, the heavy bass that was thin and degenerated in the previous release is thick and powerful. Chris Squire's running bass is also cool and cool, and you can fully enjoy the original drive feeling. The "TORMATO Tour" that condenses the essence of the 70's is depicted with such a high-end updated sound. Speaking of the standard of this period, the official video "LIVE IN PHILADELPHIA" is the most famous. Let's organize it while comparing. Tohmato: Circus Of Heaven / Don't Kill The Whale (★) / On The Silent Wings Of Freedom (★) Others: Third Album: The Clap (★) / Starship Trooper / I've Seen All Good People / Fragile: Heart Of The Sunrise (★) / Roundabout Others: Siberian Khatru / Awaken (★) / Medley (★: Time And A Word / Long Distance Runaround / The Fish / Perpetual Change / Soon) *Note: The "★" mark indicates songs that could not be heard in the official video "LIVE IN PHILADELPHIA 1979". ... and so on. Although "Future Times/Rejoice" and "Madrigal" were cut from the full set, it is still about 118 minutes long. It is a fulfilling feeling that cannot be compared to "LIVE IN PHILADELPHIA 1979", which was only about 50 minutes long. As you can see from the schedule above, the soundboards/pro shots have appeared from each leg, but the king of sound and length is undoubtedly the Wembley FM soundboard. This work is the top press 2CD. The sound that dismisses "LIVE IN PHILADELPHIA 1979", the sense of unity that makes "YESSHOWS" out of the question, and the number of songs that completely surpass both. This live album is the most suitable for the "sequel to YESSONGS" beyond even the numerous official works. Remastering Memo The hum noise has been removed and a remarkable difference can be confirmed between songs and in the quiet parts. The bass is much louder than the previous version, but this one is more like Chris so I did not cut it. Correction of phase shift. The left leaning was eliminated. Stereo soundboard recording of "Wembley performance (evening session) on October 28, 1978". This is the highest peak update board where "GRAF ZEPPELIN" has polished up the classic FM broadcast. The phase is corrected more strictly than the conventional master, and hum noise is reduced. The deep bass is thick and natural. This is the ultimate live album that surpasses "LIVE IN PHILADELPHIA 1979" and "YESSHOWS" and is the most suitable as a "sequel to YESSONGS".
