From the rising stars of psychedelic music to the heroes of symphonic rock to their rebirth as hard pop... YES continued to reign at the forefront of the scene even as they changed their sound. A collection of the best pro shots that will give you a panoramic view of that figure will be released. This work includes official professional shots of 19 songs and 22 takes taken between 1969 and 1987. However, the point is that even the so-called history video is not a concert stage, it is a video collection that traces 19 years of history with valuable studio live performances and video clips from TV appearances. It is divided into four main sections, so let's follow the contents of each video in order. 1969: Appearance on “BEAT-CLUB” (3 songs) The first thing that appears is rare footage from their debut year of 1969. These are the three songs that were performed on the famous West German program "BEAT-CLUB". If the live performances of his debut albums "Looking Around" and "Survival" and "No Opportunity Necessary, No Experience Needed" from "Time and Words" are valuable, the sight of Peter Banks, young Bill Bruford, and Tony Kaye in action is a must-see. It's a too bright image. 1970: Appearance on “ROCK OF THE '70s” +1 (5 songs); followed by two Belgian TV appearances. The first is ``Time And A Word'' performed by a mime in the station's studio, and the second is 4 songs that were performed on the famous program ``ROCK OF THE '70s''. The eye-catching beauty of “Time And A Word” is wonderful, but “ROCK OF THE '70s” has a strong impact. Although it is a color image shot on film, it is created to the fullest. Of course, the performance scene is the main focus, but the audio is a mime that is the same as the studio take of "Time and Words". In other words, the guitar player in the sound is Peter, and in the video it's Steve Howe. Aside from that, the content is a masterpiece. The image cuts and small plays are interesting, the mysterious man walking in the warehouse, the members running away from the old castle, driving around in cars like young people, and performing passionately at the garbage dump... Each of those situations is strange. It's almost like the drama "Prisoner No. 6", with more violent cuts and members suddenly disappearing during the performance. It has a strong sense of the times, like something you'd see in retro science fiction. 1970: Appeared on “BEAT-CLUB” (2 songs, 4 takes) Here is “BEAT-CLUB” again. It's the same as being super beautiful, but this one includes 3 takes of "Yours Is No Disgrace" and "All Good People" in full color. The vividness of the rich colors is amazing. Of course, the image quality is superb, but even more so is the psychedelic visual production. The test card is also a vivid pre-broadcast version, but all takes are not bluebacks, and the video composition has been completed. A precise ensemble is created against the backdrop of rainbow-colored and squishy images. This is a video unique to YES during its breakthrough period. 1977-1987: Clip collection (10 songs) The above is the first half. The second half is a collection of clips. Here, we will quickly trace the 10 years from ``Ultimate'' to ``Big Generator.'' This is too wide, so let's just organize the distribution.・Ultimate: Wonderous Stories ・Tomato: Don't Kill the Whale/Madrigal ・Drama: Tempus Fugit/Into the Lens ・Lonely Heart: Owner of a Lonely Heart/Leave It/It Can Happen ・Big Generator: Love Will Find a Way/Rhythm of Love A collection of clips from 1969/1970, when he opened up new horizons as a symphonic rock pioneer, and from 1977 to 1987, when he responded to the changing times. All of these videos have been made official at least once, so they are masterpieces of video that you can fully immerse yourself in for 1 hour and 57 minutes with their superb and natural visual beauty. This is a piece that describes the history of YES, whose musical style has changed as much as the members, through music videos that are neither stage live nor documentaries (it's a pity that "Relayer" is skipped from "Koremono", but it is a masterpiece) (Maybe it can't be helped given the times.)
