On July 24th, the last day of the North American tour in the summer of 1971 accompanying "The Yes Album", the New Haven live performance at the Yale Bowl was recorded on an official ultra-high-quality soundboard, with 2 versions and a total of 78 minutes recorded. The first 34 minutes include takes that are said to have been copied directly from Reel Master, which has appeared in recent years. In this version, you can listen to the most natural and unconventional sound of the master itself, and it also includes a take that includes the first second (with hi-hat sound), which had previously started with a cut-in, for the first time. The point of minute deterioration is also different from the previous ones, so this can definitely be said to be the emergence of a new take. (This time there is no noise or distortion that was present in the previous versions, and on the contrary, there is slight deterioration in different places.) A version copied directly from the reel tape that appeared in 2007 (" The sound quality is definitely higher than that of "Best of 1971", and at present it can be asserted that it is the best piece of the New Haven performance. The second half of the disc includes a remix version that was released in 2010. This is an ultra-high-quality version that was included in "NEW HAVEN 1971" and surprised fans. This is a sound that has been carefully remastered and restored with perfect texture, and the degree of perfection of the sound is amazing, and the deterioration and corrections have been superbly done. However, when listening to the new reel copy version recorded in this TRk1-6, anyone can easily understand from the texture of the sound that the original sound was like this. The flashy, bright, and really high-quality Trk7-12 "Remaster #2" is also really good, but I think our customers in particular will definitely prefer "Remaster #1." Although you can hear some really fine hiss, I can definitely say that this is the master sound, and I can hear the best sound without any problems. Of course, pitch, speed adjustment, and analog noise removal have been done to the extent that the original sound is not affected, so fans can definitely enjoy the best take of the Yale Bowl performance. Both versions have different sonic characters, completeness, and appeal, so we have included both on one disc this time. This is the first time that the 2010 remaster has been pressed, and the new 2013 transfer version is definitely a must-listen. A definitive collection of sound sources that allows you to enjoy the passionate performances of Bill Bruford, Steve Howe, and Tony Kaye in the first half of 1971 with official-quality sound. Bill's four-minute drum solo is a masterpiece. Since it is an opening performance for Grand Funk Railroad, the performance time is short at about 40 minutes, but you can fully experience the pure and best hot charm that only Jesus had at this time. Introducing New Haven's 1971 definitive edition, which is said to be "the best Jesus Boot sound source ever" on a specialized site. Live at The Yale Bowl, New Haven, CT.
