Contains unreleased live TV footage of the Yardbirds, who surprised enthusiasts around the world when they appeared on the internet last year. Speaking of Yardbirds pure live live footage from the Jimmy Page era, there are Germany's "BEAT BEAT BEAT" and France's "BATON ROUGE", but this video is a valuable excavation that belongs to the period in between. Immediately after the former's appearance, a TV station filmed the performance at a festival in France, but it was shelved without being broadcast, and it was traded among core traders in 2016. It has been going viral on the internet since last year. The fact that live footage from the 1960s that had been shelved has been discovered is a big topic, but there are also some things that were never broadcast. Yardbirds started "Train Kept A-Rollin'" from the opening "Shapes Of Things", but it was interrupted because no sound other than Keith Relph's vocals came out. Although he had some trouble in front of an audience that did not speak English, the French host eventually explained the situation and the filming was interrupted. Because of that, the sound balance is not good even after the partition from "Train Kept A-Rollin'" (Page's guitar is off) and it is difficult to listen to their performance. The overall performance is a bit rougher than the usual Yardbirds, but Relf's lively performance still keeps you transfixed. The sight of Relf running around the stage outdoors in bright daylight is also a sight that cannot be seen in the two TV footage from the Page era that I mentioned earlier, so I think this is also a valuable sight. What is even more noteworthy is that the clear video camera captures Page's repertoire of "My Baby" from his time with the Yardbirds and Bob Dylan's cover "Most Likely You Go Your Way (And I'll Go Mine)." You can probably see it in the video. What's more, in these two songs, Page can be seen playing VOX's "Phantom XII" 12-string electric guitar, so maniacs all over the world were fascinated. It's a must-see to see Page manipulating the 12-string VOX, which has only been seen in photos until now, but this time, while playing "My Baby", an incident occurred where his scarf hit the strings in the wind. The video was in such good condition that it was hard to believe that it had been dormant until now, and it was extremely rare excavated footage, including the performance scene of "Most Likely~," but in the end, it wasn't broadcast because it was a series of happenings until the end. I guess it was stored in storage. That's why I regret not performing "Happenings Ten Years Time Ago" on this day (lol). Fete du Muguet, Chaville, France 30th April 1967 PRO-SHOT (18:23) 1.
