Wilko Johnson is an indomitable pub rocker who continues to carve his name into rock history with his killer guitar cutting, including Dr.FEELGOOD! This video is a nearly complete recording of the only live performance he held in London on February 25, 2014, when he released a miraculous collaboration album with Roger Daltrey of The Who! Some fans may have been surprised by the unexpected combination, but in fact, the two men have long roots in the legendary British beat band Johnny Kidd & The Pirates, who sent their hit song "Shakin' All Over," which The Who also covered, to the UK in 1960, earlier than The Beatles! The band features Wilco band regulars Norman Whatroy (Ian Dury & The Blockheads) and Dylan Howe (son of Steve Howe of YES), who play a genuine, orthodox, upbeat pub rock beat.
