In 2004, the band's first performance in Japan, which finally came true on the 40th anniversary of their formation, was recorded at the Yokohama International Stadium on July 24th and at the Osaka Dome on the following day, July 25th. Both performances at "ROCK ODYSSEY 2004" are recorded in master quality and professional shot footage. First, the Yokohama live performance on disc:1 was their first stage in Japan, and the footage was recorded over 72 minutes from the broadcast master from the domestic on-air broadcast. First of all, since digital broadcasting had started in Japan at the time and the transition to digital had just begun in earnest, the video quality is comparable to today's. Only the unaired "Love Reign O'er Me" is not included, so it is not a complete set, but it is nice to be able to watch the memorable night when they first appeared in front of Japanese fans in such high quality. In addition, according to one passage, Pete's now legendary guitar crash at the end was not for destruction but was his main guitar, so be sure to check that out as it was not a performance that was performed at the following Osaka concert. Furthermore, the live performance at Osaka Dome on the 25th, the day after disc:2, was recorded with a professional shot video from the master leaked by a related party. This is not an on-air source, but a leaked video taken for a screen, so it is not as high quality as the Yokohama performance, but it is a complete recording of 95 minutes, including "Love Reign O'er Me". Moreover, the sound is recorded directly from the soundboard desk, so there are no cheers, but it is moving to hear Pete's picking, Zach Starkey's three-dimensional drumming, and even the syllables of Roger's lyrics clearly. The set was the same on both days, and of course it included the early representative numbers, ``WHO'S NEXT'', ``Real Good Looking Boy'' and ``Old Red Wine'' from ``THEN AND NOW'', which had just been released at the time, and even the ``TOMMY'' medley in the encore, all of which are powerful, making this a must-have memorial item for fans.
