Swansea is an undisputed classic among The Who's 1976 live recordings, which are already blessed with sound sources. A perfect sound quality stereo soundboard recording that was recorded on a multi-track basis with the intention of releasing it, and has seen the light of day in the form of radio broadcasts and various official releases since the 1990s. A masterpiece that brings together the best sources of sound sources that exist across these items on one disc is ``SWANSEA 1976'', and ``DEFINITIVE SWANSEA 1976'', an eternal masterpiece that sells out no matter how many times it is released. Not only is the sound quality outstanding due to the multi-track recording, but the performance is also extremely fulfilling. For example, the heart-warming performance of ``Squeeze Box'', which is familiar as a bonus track on the official ``BY NUMBERS'', and the high-tension performance of the shortened version of ``TOMMY'', which is like a kind of fan service in the set list from 1975 to 1976, are so high that they seem to be the best version during the tour. In other words, the sound quality and performance are both excellent. So this is the third release of Swansea, but it's not just a reissue, GRAF ZEPPELIN has re-examined each sound source. First of all, the songs that were sold as official album bonuses are not reused from the 1996 remaster, but this time they use the better 2011 remastered sound source. In addition, the radio broadcast parts have been recombined to achieve the best sound quality ever. And above all, GRAF ZEPPELIN's signature is that they combine each source into one without making you feel the difference in sound quality. In particular, the parts based on the radio broadcast reels were noticeable in the shortened version of "TOMMY", especially around "The Acid Queen" and "Pinball Wizard", while in past releases it felt like they hadn't been able to attack that, and this time GRAF ZEPPELIN has thoroughly alleviated this problem. The "TOMMY" part is clearer and cleaner than the previous two versions. And above all, the overall sound quality itself is much milder and more natural than the previous two releases. Although the sound quality was originally natural, this time the parts reused from the official bonus in the first half of the live performance were replaced with the 2011 version, and GRAF ZEPPELIN reorganized it, making it even milder to listen to. The 1976 Swansea album has been released in various forms from the LP itself because of its too good sound quality, but this time GRAF ZEPPELIN has adjusted each part to the utmost, and it has been reborn as the strongest 1976 stereo soundboard album that can be heard without any discomfort in total, and it will be released for the third time. The tour from 1975 to 1976 seems to have been influenced by Keith Moon's behavior, but on this day Keith was in top form (although when you listen to the MC of "TOMMY" it doesn't seem sober...bitter smile), which was also a big factor. If he is in good form, the other members are also in high spirits... the best synergy of the 1976 tour sound source recorded on multi-track. The Who's everlasting masterpiece live sound source, with the best performance and sound quality, can be listened to quickly on one disc, and has been upgraded by "GRAF ZEPPELIN" without complaint. ★The crushed seaweed waveform has been pseudo-repaired all over. The sound is pleasant to listen to, with an emphasis on range. Some parts where the sound source was distorted, such as the vocals at the beginning of Pinball, have been repaired, and the received radio noise has been removed without any sense of incongruity. Some parts are longer than the old version (between songs) Live at Swansea Football Ground, Swansea, Wales, UK 12th June 1976 STEREO SBD UPGRADE & LONGER (77:32) 01. My Wife 02. Baba O'Riley 03.
