The live performance that was the big finale of the third day of the Reading Festival on August 24, 1980 was recorded from a completely complete good audience master discovered recently. This performance was aired by the BBC and was officially released as part of a box set along with the sound source of the same festival the previous year, but the recording time was just under an hour and was not a complete recording. Although this title is an audience recording this time, the unrecorded parts are over 30 minutes long, and the recording level is not what you would expect from an outdoor festival at that time. Moreover, the quality of the songs, the lineup, the band combination, all of them are the best in the band's history, Coverdale's vocals are dynamically hot, and the way Pace & Murray's rhythm section explodes on the driving songs is truly spectacular.
