The Stockholm performance was also recorded in full on video. We will be selling it specially so that you can enjoy the brave figure of the strongest members. That said, what is included in this work is the same "Stockholm performance on April 14, 1984" as 2CD. This is the audience shot. As mentioned in the main commentary, the video of "Lineup #2" was also recorded in the official work "LIVE IN '84", but that one is a different show. First, let's check the position of the show from the full performance schedule of "Lineup #2". {April 7: Mel Galley injured} ・April 8: Ludwigshafen performance ・April 10: Copenhagen performance ・April 11: Lund performance ・April 13: Gothenburg performance ・April 14: Stockholm performance [This work] ・April 16: Stockholm performance ← * Official video {April 25: Jon Lord leaves the band → participates in the DP reunion} All six performances. Thus, the strongest WHITESNAKE only existed for nine days. The final official pro shot was on April 16th, while "DEFINITIVE STOCKHOLM 1984" and this work were on April 14th. This work, which contains such a precious show, is a truly wonderful vintage video. Although it is not possible to "distinguish facial expressions" as in the 1980s when video cameras began to spread, the angle where the actions of the five people are firmly captured is almost without camera shake. It is 93 minutes where you can immerse yourself in the passionate performance with peace of mind. And the audio was recorded separately from the 2CD, which is also wonderful. On the CD, it was a vivid sound that allowed you to check the details of the rare ensemble, but this one has a "natural sound" that conveys the atmosphere of the entire show. In fact, there was a CD that only extracted the audio from this video, and it was so good that it was on sale. The splendor of the passionate "Lineup #2" is fully conveyed in the 2CD "DEFINITIVE STOCKHOLM 1984", but the video is exceptionally persuasive. You can enjoy the sense of realism as if you were really watching the show on site. The show depicted with that quality is wonderful, and it is completely different from the pro shot of the official DVD "LIVE IN '84". The official pro shot was a special performance for a TV program, recorded in a hotel casino. The audience was also sitting in formal attire, and Coverdale even joked sarcastically, "Good evening, Las Vegas!" The atmosphere was so different from usual. I think many people have seen the strangeness of the official work. In contrast, the show included in this work is a regular concert packed with rock fans. Moreover, it is a stadium-class big show, the highest version of the stage where they should be. You can enjoy a live performance that shows your true potential, united with the enthusiastic audience. Furthermore, from a historical perspective, this work is even more valuable. In fact, this is the only complete video of "SLIDE IT IN TOUR" where you can see Jon Lord's solo time. As mentioned above, this was when video cameras were just starting to become popular, and there was little filming. Not a single full video of "Lineup #1" has been found. Although "Lineup #3" has powerful pro-shot footage such as "Super Rock '84" and "Rock in Rio '85", these are short sets for festivals, with no keyboard solos, because they were made after Jon Lord left the band. This is the only video of a full-scale live performance, which was held in Europe at the height of their popularity. In addition to the keyboard solo, there are a series of highlights that you can't hope for in other videos, such as the audience going crazy over the spinning fireworks during Cozy Powell's solo time, and "Here I Go Again" and "Fool For Your Loving" played by Sykes alone. The live album "DEFINITIVE STOCKHOLM 1984" allows you to experience the strongest WHITESNAKE with the apex sound, and this work is the only full video.
