On December 25, 2016, fans all over the world were surprised by the sudden death of George Michael, and this is a complete recording of his Philadelphia performance on August 9th from his 1985 US tour during his Wham! days, using stereo soundboard recordings from the FM radio on-air master. Alongside Duran Duran and Culture Club, Wham! was at the height of its popularity as a British invention in the 1980s, and this is truly the best of Wham!, with hit singles and covers of Motown and Chic.
