We have a powerful live performance from the era when Jaco and Alex were the most accomplished members in the history of Weather! This is a noteworthy title that will be released for the first time in Japan! The live performance at Salle Vallier in Marseille, France on October 3, 1977, when Jaco Pastorius was enrolled, reached the peak of perfection in all respects, was recorded in high quality on a rare first master tape that was recently unearthed, and of course it is a powerful edition that will be released for the first time! The album sold 500,000 copies when it was first released, received a five-star rating from the critical magazine Down Beat, was voted "Album of the Year" by readers, and became one of the best-selling albums in the jazz catalog of major Columbia Records. It is said to be a historic masterpiece in the 1970s jazz/fusion movement and the best album of Weather's work. Jaco was credited not only as a regular member but also as a co-producer. The Marseille Park from the full-scale large-scale 1977 tour with the same lineup as the album production, Zawinul, Shorter, Jaco, Acuna, and Badrena, was released with Jaco's album "Heavy Weather". The performance of Weather as a group, which had risen to the status of an undisputed super group, was also powerful. The performance was perfect for all the songs from the masterpiece "Heavy Weather", including "Birdland", which became a jazz standard number and was a hot topic for Jaco's groundbreaking picking harmonics on the fretless bass. You can enjoy a stage full of things to listen to!
