This is a live recording of a band I'm not familiar with, Vertu. Looking at the lineup, Richie Kotzen is on guitar, and the rhythm section is Stanley Clarke and Lenny White from Return to Forever. Stanley Clarke invited Richie Kotzen to "create a historic fusion group," and the unit was formed. There is a violin player, so there are some hints of the Mahavishnu Orchestra. However, Kotzen's color is also somewhat strong in hard rock. Although it is an audience recording, it is very well recorded, and the remastering has made it a good sound source that even beginners can enjoy. All the songs from the album "VERTU" are performed.
