This 1 hour 36 minute recording captures the tribute band's tribute concert held in New York on June 19, 1992, nine months after Miles Davis' death. The recordings were digitally mastered in 2025 and based on the radio on-air master's soundboard recordings. This recording is part of a growing archive series, and its most notable feature is the lineup: the four members of that legendary '60s quintet, joined by Wallace Roney, who Miles Davis recognized as his successor, make for an unparalleled lineup. The concert, which begins with "So What" by Wayne Shorter, Herbie, Ron Carter, and Tony Williams, features a succession of classic numbers from that golden age, with Rooney delivering a stunning performance in tribute to Miles. While some cuts and fade-outs are present due to the recording being for broadcast, this performance is undoubtedly the best of the many Miles tributes.
