The 1980s was a time when the Western music boom was in full swing in Japan. A collection of Japanese broadcasts that exudes the scent of that time has been released. This work contains 16 groups and 19 songs of multi-camera professional shots. This is a compilation of Western music artists selected from music programs broadcast in Japan in the 1980s. Moreover, everything included in this work is original to Japan. There is no pre-existing footage such as PVs or overseas programs, but artists who came to Japan for promotions or tours appeared on music programs such as "Night Hit Studio". This is a DVD made from a master that was air-chucked by a record enthusiast at the time. The intense smell of the "Western music boom" is simply wonderful. The best way to see how rich it is is to look at the lineup. Let's break it down briefly here. Male bands/artists (11 groups, 14 songs) USA: SANTANA, Michael Sembello, John Denver (2 songs), Christopher Cross (2 songs), STRAY CATS (2 songs) UK: WHAM!, TEARS FOR FEARS, DURAN DURAN, THOMPSON TWINS, SHAKATAK Australia: Rick Springfield Female bands/artists (5 groups) USA: Laura Brannigan, Linda Ronstadt, Rosemary Butler, Cindy Wood UK: EIGHTH WONDER *Note: Artists without a special note have one song each. ...And so it goes. The eras seem to be shuffled, but the list is full of artists who were popular with the general public in the early 80s. SANTANA, WHAM!, EARS FOR FEARS, and DURAN DURAN, who are all popular in our store, are all here, as is John Denver, who is still nationally known for his work on Studio Ghibli and rugby, including "Take Me Back." They sing "Home, Country Roads". There are also some people whose appearance brings back memories of the 80s. For example, Michael Sembello from the movie "Flashdance", Rosemary Butler from the movie "Genma Taisen", and Cindy Wood who sings the theme song of "Golgo 13". Christopher Cross and STRAY CATS also perform the car commercial songs that were popular in living rooms at the time. There are interviews with nonsensical hosts, cheap stage sets, and if you look closely, there is quite a lot of lip-syncing. Everything is nostalgic. It is a visual masterpiece where "Japan in the 80s" seeps out from every corner of the screen and "Western music fever" erupts from the speakers. It's like a time machine that will take you back 40 years in your room. A video collection featuring Japanese music programs from the 80s has been released. This is a compilation of Western artists who appeared on music programs such as "Night Hit Studio", and it also has plenty of movie theme songs and commercial songs that swept Japan at the time.
