SYNTH BRITANNIA AT THE BBC, a live compilation of electronic pop bands (techno pop, new romantic) featuring synth and techno that were all the rage from the late 70's to the early 80's, was recently broadcast in the UK. Contains a one-hour TV program. The content is dense, consisting only of live footage, with no interviews between songs, and each band's lively performance is extremely enjoyable, making it worth listening to and worth seeing. In 1979, following the 1973 anniversary of Roxy Music, the originator of this kind of band, everyone was drawn in by the exciting live performance of Tubeway Army, a representative new wave synth rock band led by Gary Numan. (It's strange and interesting to see this kind of music being played on a Mini Moog.) Sparks' familiar contrasting looks and expressions from the Mayle brothers are interesting, and even though he knows it, no one else will. You will be fascinated by it. Next up was Human League, where the performance of Phil Oakey, who has a great haircut and a narcissistic gaze that doesn't suit his face, is irresistible. The heavy polyphonic Moog synth is also very impressive. The handmade sound of the bands of this period, making full use of vintage synths and early sequencers such as Arp, Imulator, and Prophet 5, and creating a sound image full of originality along with synth sounds such as Plug Direct. I have to say that the performance is still the best. Every band is full of unforgettable impact once you see them. O.M.D and New Order., whose raw performances are the best, Ultravox, whose skillful playing is captivating, and Depeche Mode's idol-era performances from the early days of Depeche Mode (when Vince Clark was a member), who are still extremely popular overseas. Yazoo, with its nostalgic combination of Vince and Alison Moyett, the Eurythmics, featuring a long-haired Annie Lennox, and the fresh performance of Tears for Fears, just before they made a big splash with their masterpiece ``Hurting'', and this period. There are many bands that every fan who loves Western music has heard at least once. Introducing a super high quality compilation title that you can enjoy for a full hour. Comes with original menu.
