Live Aid in 1985 was the biggest concert event of the 1980s, unforgettable for Western music fans of yesteryear. On July 13th, an unprecedented music event that literally involved the entire world was held live from two major venues: Wembley Stadium in London and JFK Stadium in Philadelphia. The scale of the performance was on a different scale in every sense of the word, and at the time it was broadcast live on commercial television in Japan, and I was irritated by the commercials that cut in relentlessly during the performance and the (misguided) chatter of completely unnecessary Japanese studio guests. However, I'm sure many of you were moved by the fascinating performances of each artist, which were broadcast late at night and early in the morning with an extremely realistic feel. (Queen's CM started the moment the We Will Rock You song started, and the emotional "We Are The Champions", in which the stadium came together, was not broadcast at all. Zeppelin had a long commercial in the middle of their stage performance, so I couldn't watch Whole Lotta Love (sad), but I did manage to watch Stairway To Heaven (although I missed the head), but there was a comment from the studio after it was over. ``Well, Phil Collins appears everywhere'' was amazing.) This take focuses on songs that were removed from the British version when it was released on the official DVD in 2004. This is a must-see video collection for fans, recorded for 3 hours and 20 minutes. The picture and sound quality are surprisingly good for a video recording of the time, and you can fully enjoy the fascinating performances of each artist. At the time, a music magazine called it the "biggest school festival live show in history," and the performance was great, but it was completely different from the ultra-high-quality live broadcasts of the 21st century, and the process, camera layout, sound balance, etc. has a lot of spectacularly chaotic parts, the overall sound image is strangely sparse, the chorus and keyboards stand out, and depending on the band and part, it can be quite amazing (f.e. Bryan Ferry). During Bryan Adams, there was a lot of noise and the announcer apologized. Even though WHO took the trouble to go on stage, there was a problem with John's bass and they couldn't start playing, and you can feel Roger's frustration. Every band and artist entertains us with truly captivating performances, but among them are greats such as Sting, Elton John, Neil Young, Mick Jagger, and Bob Dylan (with Keith Richards and Ronnie Wood). The performance is by far the best, and I am once again moved by the timeless and universal appeal of top artists. This is a recommended video collection that you can enjoy for 3 hours and 20 minutes while remembering the summer of 1985.
