This DVD contains the longest and highest quality version of the "ATLANTIC RECORDS 40TH ANNIVERSARY CONCERT" held at Madison Square Garden in New York on May 14, 1988, to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the founding of ATLANTIC Records. The concert was an unprecedented gigantic event, with many bands and musicians who have belonged to the label over its 40-year history participating, and the artists took to the stage one after another for nearly 13 hours without a break. While the concert has been broadcast in parts live or in edited versions in the past, this video, which was recently released by a leaked source, contains almost the entire performance of the main bands and musicians, including the final Zep reunion, which is the highlight of the concert. The checkpoints for each disc are as follows: [disc:1] The first highlight is the solo live performance of Robert Plant, who also appeared as a solo artist. Since it was just after the release of "NOW AND ZEN", the songs from the album were the main focus, and the ending of "Tall Cool One" also included a passage from "Custard Pie". Even more valuable is 3 (three), and since there are almost no live records of this project by Keith Emerson and Carl Palmer after the collapse of EL & POWELL, it is important to check out the area where you can see it in a professional shot. [disc:2] This is Genesis, who will be performing a special medley only for this day, and the huge medley, which is centered on "INVISIBLE TOUCH" numbers and sprinkled with hits such as "Turn It On Again", "Misunderstanding" and "That's All", is truly impressive. Other appearances include 60's soul singers such as Sam Moore, Carla Thomas, Spinners, Wilson Pickett, Paul Rodgers and Bob Geldof. [disc:3] While Yes and Rufus Thomas from "BIG GENERATOR" were also great, the reunited Zep, who closed the show, was the biggest highlight of the day, playing "Kashmir," "Heartbreaker," "Whole Lotta Love," "Misty Mountain Hop," and "Stairway To Heaven" in a 30-minute performance.
