Approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes of the Yokohama Arena performance on September 26th of 1990, a major event project live "The Best" that symbolized Japan's bubble period, is recorded in the highest quality professional shot video ever. In addition to the main actors Joe Walsh and Jeff Baxter, the drummer was the master Simon Phillips, and to the delight of the fans, John Entwistle, who was making his first visit to Japan since 1972, was also present. Keith Emerson, who became the official live performance, and the live performance, which was an unbelievable combination for Western music fans, attracted a lot of attention at the time. Although it may be an impromptu band, it is a collection of great artists representing the era, and even today, you can enjoy an attractive performance that gives you the impression that it is of sufficient quality for an event live performance. The song selection is full of numbers that any Western music fan will know, making it a fun album for AOR fans. ELP's Fanfare For The Common Man, America / Rondo, which will be performed in such a situation, will surprise you with a surprisingly listenable performance. In particular, the rhythm play of John Entwistle and Simon Phillips greatly fascinates listeners with its solid, sturdy sound and dynamic, precise performance, which is completely different from ELP. The place where Joe and Jeff get excited with the guitar in the second half of Fanfare For The Common Man is also a highlight, and you can experience the best moment of this event live. Keith will perform a wonderful piano solo in Creole Dance, but at this point, you can see that he is still showing off his fingering at his peak. In Rondo, Keith takes action with a ring modulator in his hand, but the important fireworks don't come out and he makes a face that says, "Huh?" Still, he didn't give up and ran up to the piano to perform his signature Bach back-play. John Entwistle will perform My Wife, Boris The Spider as well as his solo Too Late the Hero. Since this live was 21 years ago, all the members (of course) are still young and not withered, so their performance has a sharpness and strength, and they are able to perform at such a high quality at an event live. The workmanship is impressive. It's a stage where you can feel the fun of the performers, and it's very pleasant to watch. It's interesting to see how each person performs their own songs, and it's a must-see for fans of Western music. Definitive edition with original menu.
