On December 7, 2008, to celebrate the Achievement Award bestowed on Ginger Baker, a special live performance was held at Shepherd's Bush Empire in London with many guest musicians. This title is a complete recording of the official professional shot video taken with multi-camera for 3 hours and 15 minutes. The sound is a perfect stereo soundboard recording. It seems that the digitally dropped video of the screen image on the day is the master, and anyway, it is recorded with the highest grade of image quality and sound quality, and it is a very high quality content that I would like to recommend to all music fans. In the first half, Keith Carlock and Simon Phillips, who are highly regarded as transcendent drummers of the new era, cover mainly Cream numbers with guitarists Ray Russell, representative of the British jazz world, and Tony Levin of Crimson. In memory of Mitch Mitchell, who passed away in November 2008, Jimi Hendrix numbers will also be played. Simon's set ends with Can't Find My Way Home. Next up was Steve White, a drummer who is well known for his work with Paul Weller, and his organ jazz unit "Trio Valor". Jon Lord also appeared in the middle of the set and performed two songs with great organ playing. Before Ginger's set, a history video was played to honor his achievements, and at the end of the video, a video message from Eric Clapton, who was unable to participate that night, was also played. After that, Charlie Watts appeared as the main guest. The scene where Charlie called Ginger and handed him the award he was holding was very moving. He performed jazz with Jack Bruce and Courtney Pine, showing off his roots. In Train Time, you can hear Jack's energetic harmonica and vocals. In Aiko Biaye, which has a strong ethnic color, you can hear a passionate performance of nearly 14 minutes with the band. The last part is a 10-minute solo centered on drums and percussion. Ginger's serious playing, with his serious song selection and performance, will impress you. A must-have 2-disc DVD set for collectors has arrived from overseas, featuring super high-quality live footage that appears to have been directly used from sources not available anywhere else in the world.
