``SUPERSHOW'' is a monumental music documentary film produced in 1969. The best version has been decided to be released. This music movie is truly legendary. The music session was held for a TV program and was filmed on March 25th and 26th, 1969. The film was filmed at an abandoned linoleum factory in London, with a small audience and artists representing the scene at the time. These people are the height of luxury. In addition to rockers such as Eric Clapton and Jack Bruce, who were four months after CREAM disbanded, LED ZEPPELIN, John Heisma, and Stephen Stills, who had debuted only two months ago, Buddy Miles, Roland Kirk, and Buddy Guy. A gathering of jazz/blues giants such as: We had a precious stage in its prime and a miraculous super luxurious co-starring performance. The event was later made into a movie called ``SUPERSHOW'' (later retitled ``The Last Great Sixties Musical Event Supershow''). It was released at the Lyceum Theater in November 1969, and in 1986, the software was sold on VHS/laser disc. This work is a reprint from the Japanese version laser disc, which was the best of the first releases. We borrowed the mint-quality version of the album, which was cherished by a core enthusiast, and consigned it to an overseas video manufacturer to turn it into a DVD. This is the ultimate version, with every possible measure taken, from the selection of the sauce to the process. The content depicted with such visual beauty is the highlight. Although this film is billed as a documentary, there are no interviews or narrations. The passionate sessions of superstars who have carved their names in music history are just pouring out. The composition is randomly mixed one song at a time, and there are regular style stages such as singing and regular bands, and there are also plenty of gorgeous co-stars that will make you wonder where to concentrate. Let's organize the lineup here. [Solo appearance]・LED ZEPPELIN: Dazed And Confused・JON HISEMAN'S COLOSSEUM: Those Who Are About to Die Salute You/Debut・MODERN JAZZ QUARTET: Under the Jasmin Tree/Visitor from Venus・ROLAND KIRK QUARTET: Primitive Ohio/I Say a Little Prayer Glen Campbell with THE MISUNDERSTOOD: Bad Hat Buddy Guy: Hoochie Coochie Man [Gorgeous co-stars] Buddy Guy & Jack Bruce ・Mary Had a Little Lamb/My Time After a While (with Buddy Miles) Stormy Monday/Kansas City (with Roland Kirk/Jimmy Hopps/Learn Burton) Buddy Miles/Jack Bruce/Stephen Stills/Black Queen ・Love Potions (with Dallas Taylor/Dick Hextall-Smith/Chris Mercer) Others・Checking On My Baby/Texas Blues (Buddy Miles/Buddy Guy/Glen Campbell/Steve Hoard/Chris Mercer)・Slate 27 (Eric Clapton/Jack Bruce/Roland Kirk/Vernon・Martin/John Heisman/Dick Hextall-Smith/Learn Burton) ・End Jam (Eric Clapton/Buddy Guy/Stephen Stills/Duster Bennett and others)...and so on. [Gorgeous co-stars] are organized around combinations with a large number of songs, regardless of the initiative of the ensemble. The lineup already gives me shivers just by looking at the names, but I think Roland Kirk and Buddy Guy are the most active. In particular, Buddy Guy not only appears in seven songs, the most in this album, but also has amazing playing and sharp high shouts that seem to be flying out of his mind. Even in the call-and-response scene with Clapton on the guitar, his enthusiasm overwhelms Clapton. (Incidentally, Jimi Hendrix was originally scheduled to participate in this session, but was unable to do so because he missed his flight. Jimi was accompanied by Buddy Guy. He was also a believer in the idea of master and student co-starring... or maybe even a super session with Clapton.) There's also Roland Kirk, who plays a large number of wind instruments hanging from his neck at the same time, Buddy Miles, who plays wonderfully with Buddy Guy, John Heisman, who is a 24-year-old man who pushes things with his fierce hands, and the young LED ZEPPELIN. ……. It's about 80 minutes long, and it's a series of scenes that you can't take your eyes off of for even a moment. A gorgeous reprint of such a monumental music movie from the Japanese laser disc. A historical masterpiece that promises a rich music time in 2020, which is drawing to a close.
