This tribute concert was held in memory of Hubert Sumlin, a blues guitarist who was Howlin' Wolf's right-hand man and left behind a great solo album even after Wolf's death. It is a complete recording with a good audience sound source. Sumlin passed away about three months before this concert. Even in his later years, he continued to play a powerful Les Paul sound even while wearing an oxygen inhaler. The members who gathered for Sumlin, a master of the Les Paul, were impressive. The members include familiar faces such as Eric Clapton, Jimmie Vaughan, and Buddy Guy, as well as wonderful members from across generations such as Gary Clark and Robert Randolph. The backing band is also made up of top-class studio musicians such as Danny Kuchmer, Willie Weeks, and Jim Keltner.
