The best video recording of the Japanese broadcast of the big concert "PRINCE'S TRUST 1987" in 1987, including the commercial, is back. This concert was held on ``June 5th and 6th, 1987'' and was a miraculous music event that featured plenty of gorgeous live performances and performances by George Harrison, Eric Clapton, Elton John, Phil Collins, and more. Although it was officially released, this work is different from that official work, and is a direct DVD of the Japanese broadcast at the time from the best master. The quality is so perfect that you can't believe it's from the 80s, and it's comparable to the official version. The performance itself is the same as the official version, but the editing is different and the interview includes Japanese subtitles. This Japanese broadcast version is actually on sale as the "PRINCE'S TRUST 1987 JAPANESE BROADCAST EDITION." However, the other DVD version has commercials etc. cut out in order to achieve a completeness as a "music work", but this version includes all of them and is a "complete version as it was broadcast" which is more than 20 minutes longer than the other DVD version. That's it. You might be thinking, ``What, it's just a commercial?'' In fact, it was cut out on the DVD to help you understand what you're thinking. But it still makes sense to bring you the complete version. What's amazing is the sense of the times. After all, the sponsor display that appears at the beginning of the program makes me feel nostalgic. Nowadays, it is common for the logo of the provider company to appear on the program content screen, but in this work, it is displayed in white letters on a plain blue screen, and a voice saying ``This program is sponsored by the sponsor you are viewing'' is displayed. get on. It's a screen I haven't seen in years. I'm sorry to suddenly bring up such a trivial topic, but the series of commercials that follow are amazing. Talents with youthful 80's hairstyles appear one after another, and George Lucas says, "There's always something new," and proudly proclaims, "This is the newest thing right now!" A number of commercials. An idol who later died of leukemia sings energetically, an SVHS deck that says ``the next video is 12 screens'', a bank loan with an enka background, and even ``SFX Video High Technique #2'' where Alien Baltan appears. A commercial for a video rental store that created a unique atmosphere with the familiar metal devil laughing "Lucio Fulci's Terror! Black Cat"... Don't get me wrong, this is not just a list of "nostalgic commercials". In the main concert, Prince Charles and Princess Diana stand side by side, and George, Clapton, and Elton are performing passionately. In between these historical and exquisite scenes, a group of commercials with a fierce gap will appear. British rock, which has begun to be accepted even by the royal family, and Japan, where the bubble frenzy is gaining momentum day by day, switch in an instant, and the scene is played out on a cathode ray tube in the living room. This is the “sense of the times”. It's the "smell of 1987" rising from the monitors and speakers. This work is a concert of the highest quality musically, but it also provides a level of catharsis that goes beyond a simple piece of music. When you play it, it's a time machine that instantly transports you through 30 years of time in your home. This is a masterpiece video that will make you think about the steps we have taken over the past 30 years of loving music. If you've loved music and British rock all your life, we'd like to gift you this exquisite piece.
