Band du Lac, an event band formed in the UK by musicians connected to Gary Brooker, has been holding charity concerts every year since 2000, called "Picnic Concerts," outdoors in the UK. The performance held on May 20, 2006, was recorded in two and a half hours in high quality audience recording on DAT. First of all, this concert is always a hot topic because of the participation of luxurious guests, but this year's participation by Roger Waters, Nick Mason, and Clapton made it even more popular. The live started with Bryan Ferry performing representative songs from his Roxy days with Andy MacKay, Paul Thompson, and other members of Roxy. The main performance of Band du Lac was performed by Brooker, Andy Fairweather Low, Mike Rutherford, and Paul Carrack, who took turns singing and playing their representative numbers, and in the middle, George Fame also performed a nostalgic number from the 1960s. And in the second half, which was the highlight, Clapton played a stable performance with blues covers, and then stayed on stage with the two Floyd members who appeared in the middle, and performed a great solo with Roger's backing in "Wish You Were Here", and also created a solo highlight in "Comfortably Numb", reminiscent of the "Hitchhiker" tour. And the encore ended with an all-star Dylan number, a live performance that would never be seen in Japan, here in the best quality.
