To commemorate the 50th anniversary of the ECM label founded by Manfred Eicher, which continues to pursue "the most beautiful sound after silence," a dream-like event will be held in 2019, bringing together many representatives of labels old and new. A 2-disc DVD set that perfectly captures the commemorative concert for over 150 minutes in the highest quality is now available! ! ECM Records (Edition of Contemporary Music) is a label founded in 1969 by Manfred Eicher. The lineup covers everything from jazz to classical music to contemporary music, and more than 1,500 titles have been released to date. Its transparent sound, which is said to be "the second most beautiful sound after silence," has continued to fascinate music fans around the world for half a century since its birth. Last year marked its 50th anniversary, and several commemorative concerts were held, bringing together the label's leading artists, old and new. A 2-disc DVD set of over 150 minutes of the highlight concert held at Lincoln Center in New York over two days on November 1st and 2nd, 2019 in ultra-high resolution has arrived! ! The concert started with a beautiful solo by Gismonti and ended with Enrico Rava's group, and the content was simply wonderful, a culmination of 50 years of ECM. The kaleidoscope-like performance that goes beyond genres in various situations such as solo, duo, and group proves that ECM exists as a genre. The entire story is colored by ``the most beautiful sound after silence,'' and is consistently overflowing with Eicherism. A fantastic and ephemeral beauty that seems out of this world, and ultimate romanticism, combined with an outstanding technique full of creativity. This is a one-of-a-kind concert performed by a rare group of artists who have the following! ! Piano: Egberto Gismonti, Marilyn Crispell, Giovanni Guidi, Vijay Iyer, Craig Taborn, Shai Maestro, Fabian Almazan, Ethan Iverson, Andy Milne Piano/Voice: Meredith Monk Cello: Anya Lechner Saxophone - Ravi Coltrane, Joe Lovano, Mark Turner Trumpet - Enrico Rava, Wanda Leo Smith, Avishai Cohen, Ralph Alessi Guitar - Bill Frisell Bass - Larry Grenadier, Matthew Garrison, Thomas Garrison Morgan, Dezron Douglas, Drew Gress, drums - Nasheet Watts, Andrew Cyrille, Mark Farber, Ziv Ravitz, Carmen Castaldi
