A dream collaboration between Freddie, who was the most powerful at the time, and the distinguished artists who made jazz history! Recorded on the highest quality soundboard, and released for the first time! A dream collaboration between Stan Getz, Milt Jackson, Roland Hanna, Gerry Mulligan, Bob Brookmeyer, and Freddie Hubbard, backed by the luxurious rhythm section of Blakey and Brown. A record was released at the time, but it was an edited version of three performances on September 2nd in Osaka, 3rd at Budokan, and 6th at Yokohama. All of the recordings released this time are from the Budokan performance on September 3rd, 1981, and are very valuable because they can hardly be heard officially! The entire album is recorded on the highest quality soundboard with careful mastering by the label itself, and the 72 minutes long, 12 songs in total are recorded! Members are replaced depending on the song.
