Vangelis/Holland 1991

Vangelis Memorial Album Greek composer/synthesizer player Vangelis, known for the music of the films Chariots of Fire, Blade Runner, and Antarctica, passed away on May 17. He was 79 years old. His representative said that he passed away while undergoing treatment at a hospital in Paris. Vangelis was the final act at an event held in Rotterdam on June 18, 1991. This item is a recording of the live performance at that time on a super high quality sound board for FM broadcasting. A CD recording of the live performance on this day has been released in the past, but there was a painful skip in "Chariots of Fire". (Sound loss in the left channel) There were also problems with OTHER SIDE OF ANTARCTICA and HYMNE, but this work uses a new master that has no such problems.
