Following the release of their massive "DIVER DOWN" album in April 1982, this set features three performances from the massive "HIDE YOUR SLEEP" North American tour: July 30th in Louisville, July 31st in Fort Wayne, and August 3rd in Rockford. These recordings are based on soundboard recordings recently leaked by a source close to the band. This set includes a growing number of soundboard recordings from this tour, and like previous releases, the Louisville performance on the 30th was leaked from a PA console by a source close to the band. Conversely, the Fort Wayne performance on the 31st is 1 hour and 50 minutes long, and while there are some inconsistencies in recording time and some cuts, all tracks are well-balanced for a direct-to-disc line source. The set also includes nine tracks from the album, including "Oh! Pretty Women." While "Hang 'Em High" was performed twice during the reunion era, tracks like "Where Have All Those Good Times Gone!" were exclusive to this tour, and the solos from each member are also worth listening to. The basic set list for this tour has been fixed, as has been the case for previous performances, but there will be some surprises, such as the performance of "D.O.A." for the first time in three years since 1979 on the 30th, and this rare collector's edition will also include Eddie's incredible solo, making this a must-listen.
