Celebrating Van Halen's first visit to Japan with Dave Lee Roth in 34 years, a big title that will please collectors has arrived! ! This is a must-have for fans, with a high-quality audience recording of the Shinjuku Welfare Pension Hall performance on June 19th, the second day of the tour, for 70 minutes, the longest recording ever on that day, from the first Japan tour in 1978. A precious take provided by the recorder himself. The ticket image is also printed on the jacket, but as it is number 49 in row A on the second floor, you can enjoy the show with a fresh and vivid sound from the perfect position for recording in the front row of the second floor seats. Although there are some annoying parts where the female kana cut voice saying "David!" is noisy, the recording is generally stable, and you can enjoy the memorable first visit to Japan and the second day of the show in Tokyo in the same atmosphere as it was at the time. The best version of this recording has already been released on "ERUPTION IN TOKYO", but fans will have to get this rare first visit to Japan and new recording of Van Halen. The second take of "ERUPTION IN TOKYO" which contains the same performance seems to have been recorded from a seat closer to the stage, and the sound is clearer and more direct, but although there is a slight muddiness in the low range, the document take that can be heard on this board is full of thick and stable vintage mood, which fans of any level can enjoy. Although there is a sense of density in the low range, the sound is never distorted or crushed, so it is a sound that fans who like 70's recordings will be happy to hear. The set and contents are familiar, but the seventh song Last Night played on the first day was dropped, and instead Down In Flames appeared from this day. The noteworthy advantage of this take is that Somebody Get Me A Doctor, whose first half was missing in the previous release, was recorded completely for the first time. (This recording also had a cut at 2:05, which corresponds to the reversed part of the master's 90-minute tape, but this part has already been connected.) Therefore, the point is that the total recording time is more than one minute longer. This is the appearance of a new sound source that VH collectors around the world are paying attention to.
