The second performance in Osaka in 2013 was the last performance in Japan. Introducing a superb 5-disc set vacuum-packed from beginning to end. Of course, what is recorded in this work is “June 24th + 26th, 2013: Osaka City Central Gymnasium”. This is an audience set of two full recordings and one full video. This work is a little complicated with 2 performances and 3 types, so let's organize the contents in light of the last Japan visit schedule.・June 18: Aichi Prefectural Gymnasium ・June 21: Official “TOKYO DOME LIVE IN CONCERT” ・June 24: Osaka City Central Gymnasium ←★Disc 1-2★ ・June 26: Osaka City Central Gymnasium ←★Disc 3-4/DVD★ All 4 performances. This Japan tour is known above all for the official live album “TOKYO DOME LIVE IN CONCERT”, but the final two performances in Osaka were held afterwards. Of course, Eddie Van Halen passed away without coming to Japan after this, so this work was VAN HALEN’s last live in Japan. [DISC 1-2/3-4: Best audience recordings from both days] First up is a 4-disc live album that completely records the two days in Osaka. This is also the finest original master. When you think of the last Osaka performance, the CD titles “A DEFINITIVE KIND OF OSAKA: DAY 1” and “Same DAY 2” come to mind, but this work is a completely different recording. Or should I say, “OSAKA INCIDENT 2013 DAY 1” and “Same DAY 2”. You may be thinking, "Is this just something that was given as a bonus?", but that's too early to say. Actually, the sound itself is evenly matched because the master arrived later than “A DEFINITIVE KIND OF OSAKA: DAY 1&2”. On the contrary, after its release, it is a masterpiece that received feedback from customers saying, ``Maybe this one has better sound?'' In fact, that's not far off the mark either. In particular, the first day recording of this work (DISC 1-2) has a better direct feel than the master, and the soundboard-like vividness is vivid. On the second day, although there is no difference in direct feeling, it is superior in both wide three-dimensional effect and vividness. That should be it. These two recordings were made by the master master, ``Western Japan's Strongest Taper''. At that time, its reputation had not yet been established, but if it were now, it might have been this work that was preserved forever...It is such a famous recording set. And, what is drawn with such a superb sound is a full show of the style that omitted “Mean Street” from the posthumous work “TOKYO DOME LIVE IN CONCERT”. There is no difference between the first and second day in Osaka, so let's summarize them here.・Flame Fuse: Runnin' With The Devil/I'm the One/You Really Got Me/Ice Cream Man/Ain't Talkin' 'Bout Love ・Legendary Bomber: Somebody Get Me A Doctor/Dance The Night Away /Women In Love/Beautiful Girls・Dark Law: Everybody Wants Some!!/And the Cradle Will Rock/Romeo Delight・Martial Law: Unchained/Hear About It Later・Diver Down: (Oh) Pretty Woman・1984: I' ll Wait/Hot For Teacher/Panama/Jump A Different Kind of Truth: She's The Woman/Tattoo/China Town [DISC 5: Super scenic shots that allow you to witness the last performance in Japan] Such a full live album Included with ×2 is an audience shot of the second day “June 26th”, which was the genuine final performance in Japan. The weight of the show alone fills my heart, but the actual quality is far from that. The photo was taken from the right side of the stage (Wolfgang's side), but what is frightening is how close the stage is. What a front row shot! In fact, the spectacular view will leave you speechless. After all, if you capture Dave, it will be a close-up of the teeth, and Eddie's hand on the other side of the stage can also be seen up to the veins. Moreover, the super close-up is very stable. At the time, it seems that Dave himself said it was okay to take pictures, but I never expected that the stability would be with a tripod...!? The super close-up alone is enough to blow your mind, but when you pull it back, you'll be even more surprised. Even if I pull back and pull back and get a panoramic view, I can't see a single customer. The only people in front of us were the members and the camera crew in the camera pit, and if they were not careful, it would look like a sound check. In fact, the audience may be filming, but what you feel from this work is more of a stakeholder shot than an audience shot. It is a shocking video with a strong sense of “VAN HALEN monopolized” to that extent. The show is depicted with such visual beauty, and each song and each note is ``Japan's last''. Normally, Dave's Japanese MCs, such as "What are you pretending not to know?" and "I'm sorry for my poor Japanese," would be a highlight, but I was still glued to Eddie. Even if that's not the case, this film is shot with him at the center, and even when the viewpoint shifts to Dave in the center of the stage (due to position), Eddie is on the other side. Of course, during each song's solo, Takumi's hands are featured on the screen. It is a superb video that will pierce your heart with every move. The above is "The Last Live in Japan", which is spelled out with two full live albums and one super scenic video. A 5-disc set that gives you the ultimate experience of a memorable and memorable show for us.
