The "FOR UNLAWFUL CARNAL KNOWLEDGE" era was the most original return to the VAN HALEN sound during the Sammy Hagar era. The best footage, which can be called "100% live: RIGHT HERE, RIGHT NOW", has been decided to be released. This work contains the "October 27, 1991 Uniondale performance". VAN HALEN visited Japan twice during the Sammy era, but did not come to Japan on this tour. You can experience such a prime show on site. First of all, let's understand the position of the show from the whole world tour. [1991] "F.U.C.K." released on June 18th・August 16th - September 23rd: North America #1 (19 performances)・October 8th - November 15th: North America #2 (24 performances)←★Here★・December 2nd - 14th: North America #3 (10 performances) [1992]・January 22nd - March 3rd: North America #4 (23 performances)・April 3rd - May 31st: North America #5 (33 performances)←※Official [1993] "LIVE: RIGHT HERE, RIGHT NOW" released on February 23rd・March 30th - April 29th: Europe (18 performances)・June 25th - August 28th: North America #6 (41 performances) This is the tour outline for "F.U.C.K.". The official work "LIVE: RIGHT HERE, RIGHT NOW" is the 1992 edition "North America #5", but the Uniondale performance of this work was the 12th concert of "North America #2", which is a much earlier concert. The biggest point of such a work is the superb quality. Although it is a master that has appeared very recently, the image beauty digitized directly from the original master is super beautiful. There is no dubbing deterioration or aging deterioration, and the glossy and natural coloring and vivid image quality down to the details are very neat. Of course, although it is a video shoot due to the era, it is as beautiful as a recent digital shot, and the scene at that time is revived exactly as it is. Moreover, the sound is also superb. It is not particularly synchronized with a separate recording, but it is incredibly clear. The performance and singing voice reach straight, and if the core is thick, the details are clear. And the enthusiasm of the scene is vast but feels far away, and it is as transparent as a midsummer heat haze. In "When It's Love," a chorus of tens of thousands of people accompanies him, but even in this huge spectacle, Sammy's heroic voice is not hidden at all. Even more amazing is the filming technique. The shot was taken from the second floor seats on the left side of the stage (near Michael Anthony), looking down a little, and the shadow of the front row is slightly visible in the opening song "Poundcake," but from the second song "Judgement Day," the stage spreads to the full field of view. And the sense of stability is superb. A tripod was clearly used, so it is super easy to see without any camera shake. Of course, a fixed shot in the distance would be a letdown, but there is no need to worry about that with this film. The bold zoom approaches so close that Sammy and Eddie Van Halen's waist-ups occupy the screen, and the two of them continue to be carefully followed while remaining stable. What is surprising is the way it is held down. Even though Sammy and Michael are shown singing on one microphone, when the guitar solo approaches, they smoothly switch to Eddie. The standard way to shoot in the audience is to pull back to the whole screen once to check Eddie's position and then get as close as possible. However, this work has a firm grasp of Eddie's position outside the screen, and scrolls beautifully without panicking while zooming. It is a wonderful camerawork that shows that the photographer is not only skilled, but also understands the timing of the solo and Eddie's positioning. The wonderful thing about the stage depicted with such quality... Sammy has been with the company for about 11 years, but this work is exactly in the middle, his sixth year. The mood of a big-name fusion has completely disappeared, and the combination of their personalities is ironclad. The sense of unity is overwhelming, as if they had debuted with Sammy from the beginning. It is roughly a show that conforms to "LIVE: RIGHT HERE, RIGHT NOW", but as mentioned above, the time is different and the set is different. Not only can you see "There's Only One Way To Rock", "Panama", "Why Can't This Be Love" and "Best Of Both Worlds" that were cut from the official video version, but you can also see "A.F.U. (Naturally Wired)" and "I Can't Drive 55". "FOR UNLAWFUL CARNAL KNOWLEDGE TOUR" that brought back the original wildness of VAN HALEN from the refreshing pop sound. This is a superb video that allows you to experience 100% of the "core of the Sammy era" that could not be seen in Japan. Live at Nassau Coliseum, Uniondale, NY. USA 27th October 1991 AMAZING SHOT!!!
