A live album of flames! The superb stereo soundboard immediately after their debut makes a shocking appearance. This work contains the "Wichita performance on April 3, 1978". This concert was not even listed on the tour schedule at the time, and its existence was unknown. This is an astonishing album where you can enjoy such a mysterious show on a soundboard directly connected to your brain. The biggest point is the super intense sound, but first of all, the position. Let's check the whole picture of their first world tour.・January 27th + February 8th: Warm-up {February 10th: "Flame of Fire" released} ・February 18th - April 28th: North America #1 (47 performances) ←★Here★ ・May 4th - 12th: Europe #1 (7 performances) ・May 16th - June 10th: UK (20 performances) ・June 17th - 28th: Japan (9 performances) ・July 1st - September 30th: North America #2 (54 performances) ・October 9th - 27th: Europe #2 (13 performances) ・November 3rd - December 3rd: North America #3 (24 performances) {December 11th: Production of "Legendary Bomber" begins} This is an outline of the tour that revolutionized the world. Our shop has received great reviews for the soundboard trilogy "DEFINITIVE HAMMERSMITH 1978", "DEFINITIVE MANCHESTER 1978" and "DEFINITIVE IPSWICH 1978" which included the first UK tour, but this Wichita performance is even earlier. It was the 27th concert of "North America #1" which started immediately after the release of "Flame Fuse". This work containing such a show is truly the best soundboard. There is no neatness like a broadcast sound source, and the band itself illegally invades the brain. The drums have trembling skin in the eyes, and the vocals are real even in the breathing between scats. The bass and guitar are so directly connected that you can even feel the unevenness of the strings. To be honest, the enthusiasm of the audience is far away as it is directly connected to the table, so it is not a sense of the scene, but the sound says "What's wrong with that!" It's a pleasure that can't be replaced by anything else, because it synchronizes with the band's potential that explodes even more than the "Fuse of Flame" itself. The intense sound board alone has caused a stir among enthusiasts all over the world, but this work has been meticulously mastered. The pitch, which was about 1/4 tone out of sync, has been accurately adjusted, and the powerful and unparalleled direct feeling has been depicted even more vividly. The show depicted by that sound is the "fuse of live performance". The repertoire of "Legendary Bomber" was also played on the aforementioned UK tour and Japan performance, but not in this work, which is earlier than that. It was a one-off performance of the "Fuse of Flame" number, and all the songs except "Jamie's Cryin'" and "Feel Your Love Tonight" were performed. All of them were upgraded with the hyper tension of the real stage, and literally blew out of the speakers with the force of being "slammed". The only exception among them was Eddie Cochran's cover "Summertime Blues". Although it is also a repertoire before their debut, it is not just a rare song, but the original mood is amazing. With guitar solos in between, "Ice Cream Man" and "You Really Got Me" are played as a cover triplet, and it is as intense as the classic "You Really Got Me". "D.O.A." and "Bottoms Up!", which serve as the ending songs from the middle of the tour onwards, are also good, but "Summertime Blues" is far more primitive. It is the smell of the very early days that is directly connected to before their debut. And above all, VAN HALEN itself is abnormal. The aforementioned British trilogy was burning with enthusiasm for "the first European tour", but this work is also a first place. Before their debut, they were active around their local west coast, but this work is in Kansas, right in the middle of the continent. Even in the United States, it is a place more than 2,000 kilometers away, and every place they go is a first experience. Not only the MC that feels like a first meeting, but also the enthusiasm to prove their music with each song is incredible. And the atmosphere at the scene is also superb. I wrote earlier that it was not an on-site experience, but even though it was a small venue, it was easy to understand that the enthusiasm was intense. I don't know what kind of venue "POGO'S NIGHT CLUB" was, but it was probably a small basement-level club. It was so narrow that I could only imagine it, and the intense feeling of being in a closed room was transmitted to my skin. It was a live album that made my brain tingle and burn. It was even earlier and more primitive than the popular British soundboard trilogy. The force of the debut tour, the closed room feeling of the club, and the synchronization of the table. It is a superb stereo soundboard album that has it all. Live at Pogo's Night Club, Wichita, Kansas, USA 3rd April 1978 STEREO SBD!!! (43:31) 1. On Fire 2. I'm The One 3. Bass Solo 4.
