The shockwave that shook the world is back! A completely unreleased soundboard from the "DIVER DOWN" era has been newly unearthed! Two titles will be released simultaneously on two CDs with the original master sound! This work is the second part of this two-part series. It is a stereo soundboard recording of the "July 31, 1982 Fort Wayne Performance." Speaking of 1982, the newly unearthed soundboard triptych "WORCESTER 1982 1ST NIGHT SOUNDBOARD," "3RD NIGHT SOUNDBOARD," and "TORONTO 1982 SOUNDBOARD" are still fresh in our memories, and "BILOXI 1982 SOUNDBOARD" was also released at the same time. While all are sister works unearthed through the same route, the show positions and content are different. To explain this, let's first take a bird's-eye view of the activities at the time and confirm their respective positions. 1982 ("DIVER DOWN" released on April 14th) July 14th - August 21st: North America #1 (26 shows) ←★Here★ September 1st - 25th: North America #2 (17 shows) October 7th - December 11th: North America #3 (38 shows) ←TORONTO 1982 and others 1983 January 16th - February 12th: South America (15 shows) ←※CARACAS 1983 and others May 29th: US festival appearances This is the overall picture of the "HIDE YOUR SHEEP Tour" accompanying "DIVER DOWN". 1982 was the regular US tour, and 1983 consisted of special editions such as South America and US festivals. The previous trilogy, "Worcester 1982 1st Night," "3rd Night," and "Toronto 1982," were all "North America #3" at the end of the tour, but this two-part series was "North America #1" at the beginning of the tour. Let's focus on the dates. Details of "North America #1": July 14-23 (7 shows) * July 24 "BILOXI 1982" * July 27-30 (3 shows) * July 31: Fort Wayne show ←★This work★ * August 3-21 (14 shows) It was a close show, just four shows after "BILOXI 1982" (one week later), but this slight difference made a big difference. Since it was the early part of the tour, there was a lot of trial and error with the set, and it changed quite a bit between these two works. Let's break down the set by comparing it with the representative album from the previous trilogy, "TORONTO 1982," and its sister album, "BILOXI 1982." Diver Down (8 songs): The Full Bug / Little Guitars / Where Have All The Good Times Gone! / Hang 'Em High / Cathedral / Secrets / Intruder / (Oh) Pretty Woman / Others (12 songs): Fuse of Fire: Runnin' With The Devil / Jamie's Cryin' / Ice Cream Man (★) / Ain't Talkin' Bout Love / You Really Got Me (incl. Happy Trails); Legendary Bomber: Dance The Night Away / Somebody Get Me A Doctor / D.O.A. (★★) / Bottoms Up! / Others: Romeo Delight / Unchained / Everybody Wants Some!! *Note: Tracks marked with a "★" are not available on the sister album, "TORONTO 1982: SOUNDBOARD." In particular, the "★★" marks indicate tracks that are not even included on the sister album, "BILOXI 1982: SOUNDBOARD." ...And so on. The track selection and order are based on the foundation of "TORONTO 1982." Every track heard on that classic album is included on this release. Even "Ice Cream Man" and "D.O.A." are added. The total length exceeds 109 minutes. One of the reasons for this longest run is the recording tape. The entire series was apparently recorded by the same person, "Roy," but this time, two 60-minute tapes were used. While there were some missed tracks during tape changes, this release is longer than the other releases and far fewer cuts. Of course, the sound quality is also top-notch, rivaling the other releases. The master recording was directly digitized from the mix desk, with no traces of dubbing. Because it was directly connected to the mix desk, there was virtually no variation between venues, and the otherworldly sense of synchronization is palpable, almost like stepping into your brain. The quality is uncompromising, and the length and seamless recording conditions are unmatched. In other words, this is the longest and best work in the newly excavated soundboard series. While the previous trilogy was impressive, this two-part series is even more amazing. It's amazing! While retaining the powerful power of the robust soundboard, "BILOXI 1982 SOUNDBOARD" is dizzying with the weight of extremely rare songs, while this work pushes forward with the longest time and perfection of the set. Both are must-listen, must-have historic new masterpieces. This is a stereo soundboard recording of the "July 31, 1982 Fort Wayne Performance." This is a newly excavated soundboard from a show that didn't even have an audience, and it was digitized directly from the original master recorded by the people involved. It's the longest and best work in the same soundboard series. War Memorial Coliseum, Fort Wayne, IN, USA 31st July 1982 STEREO SBD Disc:1 (57:55) 01. Intro 02. Romeo Delight 03. Unchained 04.
