``DIFFERENT LIVE OF TRUTH'' is a popular daily report series that brings back the excitement of eight years ago. The 10th edition has been decided to be released. ``DIFFERENT LIVE OF TRUTH'' is a series that began immediately after the release of the studio's posthumous work ``A DIFFERENT KIND OF TRUTH'', and released a series of superb recordings in parallel with the world tour that was underway at the time. Something. Of course, it was not released without a single curtain, but carefully selected the best master for each performance. Furthermore, the quality that was refined through mastering as much as possible was hard to believe that it was a continuous series. It was very popular back in 2012, and now its great quality is being reevaluated following the news of Eddie Van Halen's death. Moreover, the point is that it is 2012. The reunion era with David Leeroth spanned nine years, but it was in 2012 that the set changed every day. Therefore, you can enjoy different rare songs and fresh flows at every performance, and the popularity has continued even after consecutive releases. This work is the 10th work in such a popular series. This is a 5-disc audience set that mainly includes full live albums from the ``April 19, 2012 Atlanta performance'' and ``April 29 St. Louis performance,'' coupled with spectacular shots from the ``April 12 Orlando performance.'' This series is also entering the second part of its US tour since the previous work ``?''. Let's take a look back at the schedule for "North America #2" and organize our collection.・January 5th - February 8th: Warm-up (3 performances) [“A DIFFERENT KIND OF TRUTH” released on February 7th] ・February 18th – April 1st: North America #1 (19 performances) 4 April 10th: Sunrise performance *``VIII (Disc 1-2)'' April 12th: Orlando performance ← DVD of this work April 14th: Tampa performance *``VIII (Disc 3-4)'' April 16th: Jackson Ville Performance* "IX (Disc 1-2)" April 19th: Atlanta Performance ← This work DISC 1-2 April 21st: Greensboro Performance* "IX (Disc 3-4)" April 25th: Charlotte performance April 27: Nashville performance * “IX (Disc 5-6)” April 29: St. Louis performance ← This work DISC 3-4 May 1st + 5th (2 performances) May 7th: Vancouver Performances * "XI (Disc 1-2)" May 9th - June 1st (9 performances) June 3rd: Oakland performance * "XI (Disc 3-4)" June 5th: San Jose performance * "XI (Disc 5-6)" June 9th - June 26th: North America #2 (8 performances remaining) This is VAN HALEN in 2012. The 10th and 11th editions will be reprinted at the same time, but the main Atlanta performance of this work was the 5th performance of "North America #2", and the St. Louis performance was the 9th performance. This work, which records both such performances, has a vivid personality of both extremes. In this series of explanations, we categorize sound quality characteristics into "clear type," "dynamic type," and "mood type." ”, and the St. Louis recording (DISC 3-4) is “Dynamic”. The former is characterized by a realistic sense of presence, including the sound of the hall and the excitement, and the feeling of being ``on the scene'' is wonderful. Of course, it's not bouncy or fluffy (at all!), the atmosphere is clear, and the sound itself has a shining transparency. You can fully enjoy the vivid spectacle with the clear performance sound just like the actual scene and the sense of perspective of the vast enthusiasm (it's amazing how the sound of "Oh!" spreads far and wide!). It is completely different from that, and the St. Louis recording (DISC 3-4) is fiercely direct. Anyway, the core is extremely thick and there is no sense of distance. Of course, if you listen with headphones, you'll be absorbing the sound of the hall, but it doesn't give you a sense of distance. Although the actual recording position is unknown, it may have been a seat close to the PA. The closely-contact core delivers a vivid sound, giving it a three-dimensional feel that spreads beyond the back of the head. [DVD: Full video where you can enjoy “The Spectacular View” with no obstructions] Now, coupled with such a full live album x 2 performances is the spectacular audience shot of the “April 12th Orlando Performance”. The point here is "The Spectacular View" with no obstructions. It looks like an arena shot with the center of the stage directly in front of you, but the viewpoint is strangely high for that. Although it is not known how the footage was actually filmed, it looks as if a tripod was set up in the middle of the venue. You'll pass far above the heads of the arena's audience as they raise their arms, allowing you to see as many points as you want from one end of the stage to the other. Of course, the zoom that takes advantage of the spectacular view is also amazing. There is no need to avoid the passengers in front of you, and they approach you without hesitation. In fact, in terms of sound, it may not be as good as the two performances mentioned above, but it is more than enough to imagine the "other side" of masterpiece live albums. The show, which can be witnessed with such a spectacular view, features rare songs. Let's organize the set here along with the two performances mentioned above. Fixed songs (18 songs + α)・Flame Fuse: Runnin' With The Devil/You Really Got Me/Ice Cream Man/Ain't Talkin' 'Bout Love・Legendary Bomber: Somebody Get Me A Doctor/Dance The Night Away/Women In Love/Beautiful Girls・Dark Law: Everybody Wants Some!!・Martial Law: Unchained・Diver Down: (Oh) Pretty Woman・1984: I'll Wait/Hot For Teacher/Panama/Jump A・Different Kinds of Truth: She's The Woman/Tattoo/China Town Daily Songs (6 songs) ・Legendary Bomber: Outta Love Again (★: April 19th only in Atlanta) ・Martial Law: Hear About It Later (April 19th, Atlanta only)・Diver Down: The Full Bug (★: April 29th, St. Louis only)・1984: Girl Gone Bad (★: April 23rd, Orlando only)・A Different Kind of・Truth: The Trouble With Never (★) *: Songs marked with “★” cannot be heard on the official live album “TOKYO DOME LIVE IN CONCERT”. ...and it looks like this. Particularly rare is "Girl Gone Bad" performed in Orlando. As I mentioned in the explanation of "XI (Shades 488)" which will be reissued at the same time, this song is a rare song that has only been played 17 times in total during the nine years of reorganization. What's more, I'm glad that the daily songs are mostly different between the three performances. Even if it is a big set of 3 performances, it is rich in variety and you can enjoy it without getting bored. Amway Arena, Orlando, FL. USA 12th April 2012 AMAZING SHOT!! Philips Arena, Atlanta, GA.
